Similar mechanical parts to a KE30-KE55 Corolla but with a better power to weight ratio due to the samller and lighter body, and a 5 link coil spring rear end rather than the Corollas leaf springs.

There was a one make race series for the KP61 and TRD produced a full catalog of parts for them at the time.
