greetings my fellow 86 driving clubians

just bought my second *E7* and once again freighted from interstate. :shout: stupid SA having crappy E7S. :P lol

the plans are a mad streeter that i will take to the track every so offten
this will be a complete build to basicaly brand new condition.

sooo.... heres the check list ive had stuck in my mind (providing i still like corollas in 2 years :P) here goes

body
-flat front convertion.
-new quads.
-gilly lip.
-chrome bars. (end cap ones not t18s)
-big flares.
-tinted windows .
-new DX tail lights.
-parkers converted to blinkers side blinkers removed and bumper blinkers.either better lights or painted black :shocked:.
-side strips removed and grooves boged up.
-metalic blue (think red bull can colour) with a black bonnet
-cage home job bolt in and if i get serious ill get jay to make a cams approved

wheels
-rear 14x9 0 offset ssr reverse mesh powder coated black centres 195/55s or 60 what ever i can get
-front 14x8 ? offset ssr reverse mesh powder coated black centres 185/55s
probley run spaces as well to clear brakes.

suspention
front
-sigma arms. (mabey a rose jointed one insted)
-coilovers with 7.2kg/mm springs asx inserts.
-cambertops (caster adjustable)
-rose jointed castor rods
-24mm swaybar
-rx7 brakes
-40mm rcas
rear
-coilovers 5kg/mm springs
-15-16mm swaybar
-unsure on arms but with the stiff bushes not rose jointed
-traction brackets
-duel caliper brake setup

motor/driveline
-wait for it....... beams 3sge!
-j160 six speed
-extreme hd clutch
-adapronic ecu
-r31 diff with a 2way lsd unsure on gears
-lightened flywheel
-one day cams and turbo

so yeah probley end up how i think it will and will get sick of it a sell it at a great loss but we'll see how far we get

the rust is going to be interesting to fix as well

drift build but ill probley chuck some soft springs in and see how fast i can go

according to lawson some 14s will fit so i dont know? if not will just have to settle for 15s

Yeah some have enough back spacing to clear the calipers. Looks like a sweet project.

is yours rack and pinion or steering box? and does it have a borgy diff or a t series?

just trying to work out what bits on mine are original cos i can't find any decent info on these things.

pretty sure they are the exact same as t18 guards......I'll let ya know how quads fit up soon.....I'm ditching my ke70 and using a t18 shell,so i'll be putting my quads in that...somehow?

ma61's fit over rx7 brakes with an 8mm spacer

so most 14's with big offsets will fit

work has comenced

slowy chipping away at the sound deadining
new doors and a new ke70 car wreak will arrive tomorrow night and we'll see if a adm flat front convo is possible. and if so im in need of a bonnet

i will also try to keep a running total going of whats bought so far on the first post

so far the car owes me $2060 all up! oh well it was never goin to be cheap

beams will hopefully turn up in the new year

thats pretty much it for now

you wont be able to do a flat front conversion with ke70 panels, you need to use t18 panels, as the section where the guard meets the door is different

you can go quad light with the t18 guards, but the parker section does need slight mods

looking sweet so far, glad to see the doors were all sweet

you could,if you choped up both pairs of guards......i wouldn't though,just mod the Quadlight brackets with the spacer bits from the te72 h/lights....needs love but you'll get it!

yeah i really want to go flat front but sized up the flat panels it'll just way to hard EVERY PANEL IS DIFFERENT even the panel between windscreen and bonnet is way different
ill just stay with the front i got and the lights are sort of growing on me

ok well i have an 86 coupe now so this has to go :(
i would really like to keep this it still it still gives me that buzz when i look at it even more so than the new 86 but theres just no room 8 cars/trailers on our propety

ive got new doors and guards that are rust free and painted them matt black ive bought t18 chrome bumpers in ok to good condition painted the boot and bonnet everything painted has had the dents fixed to
interier needs a clean it'll come up good though

theres rust in the boot fairly bad but very easy to cut out probley 2-3hours work the boot seal is hard bit to fix but fixable

im offering it cheap now as is because the more i work on it the more i want for it and the harder it will be to sell it
$950 as is $1050 i'll make it drivable
needs brakelines and trans fluid seats and suspention
