i drive one, ill let you know how it drifts when im finished with the first necessary mods. but they are a great base.

get an e30 318i coupe mid 80's model as its the lightest shell and 325 stuff bolts in apparently (heavier gear) - few mods in the bmw straight six and you should be putting out 200hp in 1000kg car with the potential to handle amazing and look awesome :D
or get the 325, basically same thing just heavier and more powerful.
i have a spare 4door if you need cheap parts.

Dont get me wrong the power is so good, especially concidering the engine is completely stock, even down to the exhaust and it still sheds tyres like mad.

Just going through a pair of tyres in 4 runs of a certain spot is shit. Although I invested in camber arms and already im getting at least 3 times longer out of tyres, but its so damn fast now. I HATE the power steering and its bullshit lack of lock (in stock form) but I have decent lock now so thats all good, going to look into converting to non-power steer. Then theres the flimsyness, a KE felt like a tank compared to this thing, a cage fixed that up a fair bit though. Theres a lot more that im not happy with in it, I think the biggest thing is the fact that now im just another dirty silvia driver.

Ill be back in a KE soon enough though, its just got to be making bigger power than the panno. Got to work some stuff out, then get building.

The 31 is hating life. As soon as it got back to Melbourne it must have realised where it was and started to kill it self. Running (more) like a real dog sometimes, not idling, pinging, running rich, then all of a sudden it will be perfect, then go back to being shit. Still trying to work out what it is.

As for Winton, im in Tassie for when the next Winton is on anyway, but ill be back for Drift attack.
