So I got picked up for this, and I haven't been able to figure out what to do here:

The pod filter needs to be secured to the chassis/body in order for it to pass. The officer at the time just suggest a simple metal screw clamp, like the ones holding the piping to the intake. Only problem is, I can't really see a hole big enough on the chassis to put it through, or close enough for it to be effective. Does this mean that I need to drill some holes myself to get it secured properly? Does this sound logical and good enough for it to pass at inspection?

Cheers :)

I had CAMS scrutinerers tell me to secure my pod, but zipties were acceptable :)
Just strapped it up to the rad support, cops havent told me off for it yet in SA.

this is all i did and the inspector at regency loved it!

just a piece a metal bent and tucked under the hose clamp that holds the pod filter on, then a small hole and i used a exsisting hole in the engine bay. painted it black so it was not to pov spec and away you go

Took me while to spot it, but thats a really clever idea Tim. TBH I have no idea if it will pass. I'm getting the exhaust done next week and hopefully I might try that afterwards, take it to get inspected and hope it works :)

the inspected looked at it gave it a shake and moved on... i just slapped it together to get it threw i have a better intake to go on but my ali welding skills need some more practice. might get around to it this week end maybe

it holds pretty well for a 10 min job
