i have been searching for this, cant seem to find a good copy...

it was posted on the old forums, many will know what im talking about. there was a comparison done by "street commodores" into different brands of engine oil. there where some surprising results.

I had been using Royal Purple for sometime before I found this article, it's good to see how the oil you use compares. Often I get people comment on how expensive oils such as Royal Purple are, I put it to them this way, how much does it cost to build a tuff engine?(rods/pistons/camshafts/valves/valve springs etc etc) actually how much does it cost to build a standard engine, I'm talking machining, pistons, bearings etc etc, it will cost you $1000's...........so what's $100!!

yeah Frak, thats exactly right. wanted to put super good oil in the new bus. also no point paying for a brand name if its no better.
