I rekon the easiest way to do this is to see who is interested on the idea.......and what they are looking to swap, or what they want to swap for.

Its a good idea for a meet, but I would want to know what the majority of shit is going to be at the swap before lugging all my crap into the back of my car.

Try not to have people dump left over crap like the last time something like this was held.

I think having a swap meet is a great way to exchange parts but also a very social gathering, as people can come along who are still buildin their cars and others can come along just for kicks

dont own a 86 (own e7) but i've somehow accumualted several 86 parts.

me and a mate are building a old xp coupe and we've been to several swap meets and there alot of fun!

as waterboy said, they are good for people who are building cars. you'd be suprised what people have laying around in the garage/shed.

Why do I have to always do it :DD

Just look at the previous swap meet (http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/showthread.php?t=5356) I organized, set a date & time, location and a list of people attending (should put all this in the first post) and the rest will just happen. Good idea is to give atleast 2-3 weeks noticed.

And I WILL get back to making monthly meets again, just been so busy and lazy :))
