You using XP?

There's a small program you can get from the microsoft website called XP PowerToys Image Resizer.

Here's the link:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/Downloads/powertoys/Xppowertoys.mspx

Best part about it is, it comes up when you right-click, no need to open a seperate program.

Basically, go to that link, you'll see a whole list of PowerToy applications, the download links are down the right-hand side in small shaded boxes. Install the ImageResizer one wherever you want... Then to use, simply highlight one or as many images as you want, right click, and it will come up with an option saying "Resize Pictures". Click on that. It will open a small window asking you what size you'd like, select one, then hit ok, and it will chug along and resize them all in one go, mad easy.

Or, if what you say is you want a seperate folder with the original images kept at full-res and a seperate lot of scaled down ones, either do one of two things:

- Select the originals you want to resize, go "resize pictures", select your size, then hit ok. It will make duplicates in the same folder, so move the duplicates to wherever you want to store them on your computer

- Copy them all to another folder, select them all, choose your size BUT before you hit ok, click on the "Advanced" tab, and select "Copy originals - Do not make duplicates".

Does this help?
