Are these wheels to big for stock rear guards? If so what work would they need?

a decent pull on the lip that goes down flat, maybe round it so it continues the curve of the rest of the guard,

mine are 14x8.5 -4 and the lip just hangs out stock guards looks wrong until i slam my car, bending that little lip out will give you an extra 10mm or so of guard so it will look much better than keeping it standard, if inside is lipped up already just need to pull that edged lip out make it inline with the rest, even dolly and hammer it yourself.

8.5 -6 sits only slightly in the guard with the rear guard flared to follow the original guard curve.

It will have 10cm of poke.

Will sit the same as these on Gillys old AE86. 14x9 -25 185/60

have a look through that, will give you an idea.

when people say their wheels "fit" it is a loose term:P.

some consider 1mm of clearance fitting, with continual scrubbing.
