Hey guys I need to get the spline on my clutch changed to suit w55 gearbox. Just wondering where I can get this done and roughly how much?? I have called 2 places but both said they can't do it.

can you just buy a different driven plate?

or change the input shaft on the gearbox?

You could machine up a type of 'helicoil' adapter to change your splines lol.

(don't do that... ;) )

Trade Brake and Cluth on Princes Highway at Springvale have been really good to deal with in my experience.

There are a couple of old school gents behind the counter. They will know what to do or where to go.

just get a pressure plate with the right diameter and spine, the right one is like off a hiace or something.

and if it costs more than a new one? you might want to check it out, besides once your current one wears out you will have to know anyway
