Ok bit of an update! Decided i didnt like the look of the car anymore, so i've sold of the green rims and bodykit and looked for a new look.

Dummie fitted up all four corners. Maybe wind the camber out a little and 10mm bolton in the rear for looking mint, but the way it is now would allow me to drive around more. Fronts are ok, small spacer would help. Needs a front bar and sideskirts which will hopefully be soon, but now i'm questioning whether to go pods or actually run a rear bar.

Yay for S13 wiring with 18's

not sure about thw green wheels but still like it better then before.

i guess the good thing about a kit is if you dont have the bumper reo then there would be a fair bit less weight.

but then again you could trim/remove most of it anyway. i was thinking about doing this but i hit too much shit and the stock bumper tis good, it jut bounces off walls/guard rails etc and you keep going lol.

Yeah plastic is much better for me than fibreglass aswell. Not sure if i'm keeping the rims or not, but they're doing for now.

Hi Nismo sideskirts! Got a full kit now. Just needs paint, service and a diff leak sorted.

Basically kicked straight into trains on Tuesday, was in a six car run and the middle 180sx spun. I was just pushing to hard up on the green S13, running way to fast, I just didnt have a chance to get out the way yet alone brake in time. I just didnt see him untill the other s13 got out of the way. Left hand rail is pretty bent up, so its not gonna be rivived.

Assuming (havent really gotten to look at the shell properly yet) the engine, gearbox and most of the suspension which they all looked pretty good, are ok. I've just gotta tidy this up a bit, and buy new;

Radiator
Intercooler kit
Front reo
Oil Cooler kit
Nismo bar
Couple of tiny bits and pieces

Haven't updated in awhile so getting this thread up to speed. CA is out of engine bay with the SR pretty much ready to go in. SR is out of the wreck but needs a couple of things before I can start to put it in.

Unfortunately the car just takes ages to move around which is the most frustrating part, but its a start.

Redrilled and swapped over clutch master
Swapped over brake and clutch pedal assembly's
Swapped brake master because it was in better condition
Doors changed over
Dash changed over
Carpet and interior out of the old shell

I ran out of daylight, but remaining to do list looks like this;

Vacume out the new shell, lay the carpet in and bolt the seats up
Repaint cage and bolt in
Swap over brake lines and fuel tank
Bolt in diff
Bolt up guards, bonnet and change quater glass
Engine + gearbox
Change over ignition barrel
New Exhaust

Any tips on changing the ignition barrel? It looks like a pain!

Ok so I haven't updated this in awhile. Here goes!

Bought a new car with parts I sold from the last one, so no longer building a car, just working on this one.

Has;

Front Mount
Tein Coilovers
Velo Bucket
S14 LCA's
5 Stud
1.5 Way LSD
Type X Blacktop
Button Clutch
Exhaust
18 inch VSXX
BN Kit
6 Point Rollcage

Pulled the ugly guards off and lowered. Tidied up the interior. Also purchased a twin core copper radiator and 25mm overs for the rear.

Decided to mount the intercooler underneath the radiator! Super short piping!

Cut guards getting ready for the 25mm widebody guards!

Piping for intercooler almost done, here's it tack welded and getting final measurements!

http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5270/5652940415_b5c4d620c3_b.jpg

And also got a T28 with Section manifold to replace the stock gear!

All in all its coming along nicely and should hopefully be finished and on the road in a couple of weeks. Already has rego, I just need to change gearbox oil, fit the rear overs and it'll be ready for paint! I'll eventually be getting a hold of some wide front guards too.

The green colour's days are numbered.

It's under the radiator support.. Shorter pipes..

Hopefully a minor increase in response and the bonus of being away from any ripple strips etc.

A lot more progress again! Changed the door card lining

Fitted wheels, camber arms and toe arms now, also pretty happy with the height too, its a good medium. Will be taking it to Bosmans for a wheel alignment sometime next week though.

Switched to a vertex kit, something a bit less offensive, and got some pretty Juran front indicators too.

Nothing too exciting for the S14, I've gotten a lot more sensible in my old age and this is the new daily/occasional drifter. As minimal as possible, keeping under the radar and enjoying actually driving a car a lot more.

Just the important bits basically;

T28 BB turbo
Kei Office Coilovers
DMAX rear toe arms
Cusco rear camber arms
Exhaust
Twin core copper radiator
Exedy HD clutch
R33 GTR Wheels

Trying that 2000's style? Getting closer to how I want it, I can literally go to the city in this and go for a sesh afterwards without really worrying about police. Perfect balance for me, just a few tweaks to come!
