The oil cooler comes as a top mount kit from the uk you just have to make your own brackets to mount it. Yeah muncher i've been on GTIROZ for a few years now.

Hell yes!! i love these things, i wanted to get one before i bought the 86 but dident have the cash. first one i test drove had a straight cut gear box in it..... ohh man such a cool sound and so quick stock! nice work

iv heard they are a hard car to get handeling really well? how have you found yours?

Jman_KE70
18th January 2010, 08:03 AM
Yeah they tend to understeer abit when pushed really hard. Most people fit 1.5way lsd's to the front and bigger rear swaybars to fix it. I've had it for about 7 years now and have had heaps of fun in it on and offroad.

really? thats intresting. why do cars in japan need flares?

i always just asumed that the gtirs had them because they were a car built for rally. and rally cars need cool things like flares to make the "Rally"

I used to have one of these. Was a pretty fun car! Had a 2871R on it and it made 150kw atw on standard boost. These things pull off the clock so so easy. I got bored of 4WD though.

I haven't really done much to this in the last 12 months or so until now. I've decided to have ago at khanacross so i spent a bit of time last week making a bash plate removing the fmic and putting the top mount back on. This was mainly to get rid of as much lag as possible the car feels a lot more responsive now. I've got some 14's to put on, I also need to make some mud flaps and pull some stereo and interior out.

I took the pulsar out to lanac park today for khanacross it was pretty crazy, my times weren't great due to running only 7psi and trying to look after the car a bit since i was driving it home. There were some awesome rally cars out there pushing really hard.

I decided to take the gti-r out for another run at lanac park last weekend, the car was going good until i bottomed out around the bowl and bent the bash plate. I had an incar camera in but it didn't turnout real well.
