The other brown Trueno ICBM is Youichi Imamura's (2003 & 2009 D1GP Champ) Great vid that - Drift Tengoku #6 - Comparing 2 legends AE86's
(the later half of the vid compared Taniguchi and Miki's S15 Silvias)
As Ueo (2002 D1GP Champ) and Imamura both won the All Japan Ika-Ten prior to 2000, hence they were the top seeded 86ers in D1GP from 2001. Interesting to see the differences in their car setups and driving styles.

If you google "Katsuhiro Ueo" "Youichi Imamura" + "AE86 Trueno" there is a fair bit of info and pics out there! Most in Japanese as you'd expect as these cars are from 5-10 years ago. Here is a few pics of the ICBM Silky House Trueno I had handy for you. (You can see the different stages of progression)

Ueo's D1 Sift/Cusco Treuno came after the black "Professor" in that vid, which was a further development of the bone AE85 and GTV he won Ika-Ten. (added Imamura's classic run at INA Circuit for good measure :yeah:)

These are probably the most informative articles (in english) on Ueo's D1 car... SuperStreetOnline (http://www.superstreetonline.com/featuredvehicles/130_0312_custom_toyota_corolla_gts/index.html) & JDM Option (http://www.jdm-option.com/eng/pickup/06_01/86.html).

Article from Battle Magazine (June 2000) with Youichi Imamura's drift Truneo and daily Levin.
(Believe it or not, before becoming a pro-drifter he was a florist in a boutique called Silky House.

I think that everyone knows I.C.B.M's Mr. Imamura. He is one of the youngest drifters, but also one of the best drifter in Japan. I know some of the hachi-roku (AE86) maniacs want to see and check his car so here it goes...

No sweat! A lot of people love Ueo for his insane drift entries and huge angle slides. Since he won D1 in 2002 he hasn't had many good results, and he had a bit of a falling out in D1 2004 and also competed in the US FD series. The vids of touge drift in his Garage Sift KE70 wagon (http://www.sift.jp/) are epic.
