13th December 2010, 09:44 AM
Finally got some RA65 struts for maximum late braking, still a bit spongey so getting worked on tonight, front strut brace also aquired just needs drilling. Propper tune and HSD sleeve kit to come just after Christmas too ;)

let me know how you go with the spongyness im having the same problem

TRD Adz
13th December 2010, 12:37 PM
oh really? yeah sure thing, i thought it would be amazing but the braking compared to standard is about the same which makes me think theres something wrong surely. Im taking it my mates tonight coz when we did a brake bleed only one calliper seemed to bleed properly, also prob gonna get new pads so ill see if regreasing the calliper and all that works or not and let you know :)

ecko
13th December 2010, 04:23 PM
yeah i upgraded with ma61 brakes and having spongy probs, is yours drum rear? i change to ma61 booster and master cyl too but no change,
im upgrading to disk rear end hoping that may fix it if not im in trouble

KurtHS
13th December 2010, 08:18 PM
One of the funniest video's on youtube for sure! Jelly beans suit it I agree, looks good.

sam2306
13th December 2010, 08:49 PM
ecko, hes got a rt142 disc rear end, he probs just hasnt got all the air out

svenmate
13th December 2010, 10:35 PM
Rears are solid squirters, no air. One front caliper was a tad blocked and calipers needed a grease. Works well now.

Bare in mind that the disc brake rear end has internal drum = less handbrake.

TRD Adz
14th December 2010, 08:04 PM
Yewz! what svenmate said basically justy regrease and lube the shit out of every moving part in the calliper and rebleed the brakes and im sure itll feel good :)

TRD Adz
20th December 2010, 01:42 PM

TRD Adz
20th December 2010, 08:23 PM
Just some random one, I don't really know what it is, we had to redrill the crap out of it though but it's rigid enough :p
