For sale: 1984 Toyota Sprinter

Location: Toowoomba, Qld.

Asking Price: $3000 O.N.O.

Kilometres: 382,000km not genuine, due to instrument cluster being replaced.

Manual or Automatic transmission: 5 speed manual

Engine Type: Bigport 16V 4AGE from AE82 Corolla

Condition: Minimal rust (spent $2700 a couple of years ago to get most of it removed), Significant dent in Passenger door (replacement door included), Have prepared some panels for respray as existing paint is cracked.

Modifications: Old soarer rims come on car, centrelines too for the right price. 6"x9" Pioneers in boxes, but no head unit. Boot mounted battery.

Safety Certificate: Not available

Registration: DAE86 until April 2010

Crash History: Got bumped on the passenger side by a HSV Grange on a roundabout a while ago.

i tried to start it the other day, with no luck. turned out it was empty. put some fuel in to get her started and went for a short drive. nothing unusual except some popping and farting which i assume was due to the small amount of fuel i put in.

sometimes idles a little high (up to 2500rpm), but usually between 1500 and 2000.

has a few old car noises when driving, but it's been like that for years.
