anyway. the car was a great buy though the body was very, very rough, having bits of white paint covering up rust blemishes everywhere, pretty much painted the whole car with pressure pack primer and touch up paint. never done any body work at all, was fun using the bog, though will eventually pull the right rear quarter out and weld in a section as it's pretty dodgey at the moment. got knocked back at its roadworthy inspection so had to put carpet in and run stock rims. will get a full specs list up soon, lots of fun to drive!

got pictures up now. had to use imageshak cause photobucket isn'tr working atm

rough run down of what's been done so far.

- replace dash
-touch up bonnet and paint boot
- fix up rear left guard as bog was cracking
- repaint bumpers, side mirrors and front chrome trims with black trim paint
- change drivers side door and repaint as old door had massive dents and a bend, chuck all stock stuff in for rwc

True that. I always apply the bog as smooth as possible.

Did you have an applicator pad Chris or did you just use anything?

When'd you get this beast? Looks like it will be sick.

i used a paint scraper, i'v enever done it before, the hole was so huge i'm lucky it stuck in there at all, after roadworthy iu'll punch that pile of shit bog out and weld real stuff in ang give the rust a second treating.i got it about a month ago, gotta take it in to vicroads soon, i have to wait to weeks though as they'r eso busy there. love this car so much

You should have put a small plate on the rear of the hole then bogged it. I've done that on 3 cars I've had and it never cracked or anything.

yeah i used a backin, but seriosuly, it was a huge hole, nothing was gonna hold it perfectly, especially on the very corner contour

lol sounds extremely dodgy. should pretty much never stuff shit in and bog it up. if the holes that big weld it up.

Hey man if you want that right section I cut an ass end off another corolla. I'm using the wheel well and that's about it really so you can have that bit if you want.

When I start cutting my bits off it I'll cut it out and give you a yell.

If I cut it to about where the red line is will that do? Its from the join in the two panels.
