Want to get my MK2s professionally polished so they are really shiny and stuff

Who in Adelaide does this?

What sort of prices?

North would be ideal

Eddy was telling me of a guy who comes out to do them for $100/per wheel which seems pretty good.

Thanks, Ben.

There is a place somewhere called reflections I think, and they are much cheaper. Ask the Wookie about it, he knows where it is.

Reflections Metal Polishing at Kilkenny, drop them off in the morning, pick them up later in the day, they'll do an awesome job for the price of a tub off autosol per wheel

Reflections Metal Polish are awesome. I would highly recommend them to polish anything. Super quick and super cheap. They did an awesome job. I paid $240 for 4 rims that needed alot of work.

Heres a pic of their work.

Even if the rims have alot of gutter rush they can polish it out really well. The rim below had heaps of corrosion and pitting throughout and looked like it was beyond repair.

Do the prices differenciate between wheel sizes? eg 17's more expensive?

Prices do slightly vary depending on the work required and size. Only slightly though ($5-$10 difference)

I might add as well that the guy from Refelections recommended against clear coating them.

If the clear coat gets chipped at all, all the clear wil need to be stripped or water will get under.

Just run them bare, keep them cleanish, and possible once a year they may need a quick polish (eg Autosol etc, or he will redo for $10)

+1 for no clear. i have seen a few wheels and other car parts that have been polished and cleared they get a yellow tinge on them after about 6 months.
