View Full Version : Formula 1 2010

13th March 2010, 11:08 AM
Finally! its back, been stoked about this season for awhile now.
So many things to cover i dont even know where to start.
Qualifying is on a 9pm tonight on channel one.

I'll let other people do the talking for me at the moment.

"Heidfelds analysis of the Barecelona test. He looked at the cars in fast corners, slow corners, over the kerbs, etc."

- Ferrari impressed more during the Jerez test.
- In Jerez the balance of the car was neutral, while in Barcelona the car had a slight tendency to understeer (this could be explained by the nature of the Barcelona track, which provokes understeer, while Jerez provokes oversteer.)
- The car has a lot of downforce.
- The car is stable in fast corners, which gives the drivers confidence.
- Sudden over- or understeer can be correctly easily by the drivers, even on high fuel.

Red Bull:
- Without looking at the lap times, the Red Bull looked to be the best car after its updates.
- It is almost frightening how good the Red Bull is.
- Red Bull has "sandbagged" in Barcelona; they haven't shown their full potential.
- He has seldom seen a car that is so well balanced, both is fast and slow corners.
- No other car has as much downforce in fast corners than the Red Bull.
- No other car brake as late and as long into the corners as the Red Bull.
- No other car is as good over the kerbs as the Red Bull.
- The Red Bull swinged the less on/after a bumpy track.
- They have worked a lot on the suspension and damping.
- The car has very little over- and understeer.
- Vettel and Webber can very easily drive the car on the limit.

- Before the updates the car was very nervous when driving over bumps.
- The car was very "pitch senstive"; it had extreme reactions under breaking and acceleration (tail stepping out and such).
- After the updates, the car was transformed in terms of handling.
- It over- and understeers a bit too much still.
- The car is tuned very stiff also in slow corners.

- The most stiffly tuned car.
- It jumps very much on uneven ground.
- Looks like a car that is difficult to drive.
- For Kobayashi, he always worries that he just flies of.
- But the car seems to be fast.
- Much will depend on whether Sauber can maintain that level.

Toro Rosso:
- Suprisingly good.
- The car oversteers a bit too much, but still driveable, due to which the tyres won't be destroyed.

- Almsot in all aspects average; nowhere it is particularly good or particularly bad.
- Tuned very soft, which makes it good to drive in slow corners and over the kerbs, but slows it down in fast corners.
- The Williams is the car that rolls the most in turn 9, the fast righthander.

- Improved a lot with it updates.
- The car is very nervous, or has to be driven nervous and aggressive.
- Suffers quite a lot from over- and understeer, but still controllable.

Force India:
- The car goes very well in fast corners.
- A bit nervous, but might be partly due to the aggressive driving style of Sutil

- The balance of the Virgin is a disaster.
- Lotus looks much more balanced.
- Lotus has more downforce, but less grip and poor traction.

It’s been a busy day at Bahrain, albeit totally lacking in tension. The drivers and teams all seem very calm ahead of the new season. The new teams are understandably a little more edgy, but generally I am amazed how calm everyone is.
That doesn’t mean that there hasn’t been a lot going on. Alain Prost is to act as a steward this weekend, alongside three of the more traditional steward types, in order to add credibility to penalties handed out to drivers.
Also the World Motor Sport Council has today been discussing the 107% rule and decided to look into reintroducing it, in order to weed out cars which are far too slow in qualifying. Basically any car which did not qualify within 107% of the pole sitter, will not be allowed to start the race. On a track like Barcelona this would mean that if the pole was a 1m 19s lap, cars would have to lap faster than 1m24.3s. We will find out on Saturday how far off the pace the new teams are and how pressing this issue may become.
I understand that the 107 % rule has a lot of support within the FIA. For it to happen this year all the teams would have to agree to it, which the new teams are unlikely to do. For it to happen next year they would need 70% of the teams to agree, which is possible.
In a separate development, there are strong signs from the FIA that they are going to come down very hard on USF1 for failing to make it to the race track. It was discussed at the WMSC and FIA president Jean Todt has been mandated to “take appropriate action”.
Little has been seen of the Hispania team today, the garage doors were shut when I went to look, but it has been confirmed that the car has passed scrutineering and Bruno Senna said that they are planning on going out in the morning to do as many laps as possible. I will post tomorrow on what they will have to do to prepare an untested car for a race.
The debate over the legality of the McLaren rear wing continues. Three teams have spoken to the FIA’s Charlie Whiting, who has inspected the wing today and said that he is entirely satisfied that it is legal. If the other teams choose to protest it after the race on Sunday, it will be up to the stewards to decide whether it is legal, but they will be guided by Whiting’s view, clearly, as assessing these things is his job.
It is emerging that the cleverest thing about this wing is actually something very simple; the airflow from an opening in the cockpit to the slot in the back of the rear wing, is carried down a pipe in the sharkfin engine cover, but it needs to be “switched on” on the straights. To have any kind of mechanical device would be illegal. The solution? It is controlled by the driver’s body. When he moves his left leg in a certain way, it allows air flow through, which shoots into the slot on the back of the wing and separates the airflow underneath the wing, causing it to shed drag, so the car goes faster down the straight. It’s a bit like the brake steer third pedal McLaren had in 1997, but even more simple.

Quick run down of the rule changes for 2010.

- No more refueling, it seems the RedBull is the most consistant with a full tank, and also seem to use their tyres the best.
- KERS is scrapped
- The qualifying system will change to accommodate the extra cars: 7 cars will drop out of the first qualifying session, 7 from the second and as in 2009, 10 cars will shoot-out for pole in the third session. The third session will now be run in low-fuel configuration due to the refuelling ban
- The top ten drivers to qualify for the race must start the race on the same set of tyres that they qualified with. In the event that a tyre is damaged in qualifying, the FIA technical delegate will assess the extent of the damage and may allow the car to switch tyres to a set he deems to be safe
- Wheel covers are no banned. THANK GOD.
- The front tyres will be narrowed from 270mm to 245mm to improve the balance of grip between the front and rear
- A new points system has been ratified for 2010, in response to the increased grid. Since 2003, points had been awarded to the top eight finishers: ten points for first, eight for second, six for third and all the way down to one for eighth place. The 2010 system will see 25 points for first, 18 for second, with third receiving 15, 12 for fourth and then ten, eight, six, four, two, and one for tenth place
- The stewarding system will be overhauled for 2010. Rather than having a rotating line-up of stewards, they will now be drawn from a smaller, fixed pool of permanent stewards that will include former drivers. Previously, stewards were only able to issue twenty-five second penalties for infractions that occurred too late in the race for drivers to receive a normal penalty, but for 2010 they will have the power to hand out twenty-second penalties to drivers who would have received a drive-through penalty and thirty-second penalties to those who would have received a stop-go penalty. Any penalty must now be completed within two laps rather than the three of previous years
- Drivers will now have just eleven sets of tyres over the course of a weekend, down from fourteen in 2009. Three of these sets are for practice only and must be returned before the start of qualifying, regardless of whether they are used or not

Fuck yeah its gonna be great! cars are looking great this year! should be a good one to watch,

13th March 2010, 05:28 PM
This season should be really good.

13th March 2010, 08:52 PM
Fuck yes.

14th March 2010, 04:01 PM
Hopefully webber has another good year.

14th March 2010, 04:29 PM
so keen for tonights race. really enjoying the new rules too.
should be interesting to see how the different teams go about it.

14th March 2010, 06:08 PM
i think the newer teams will really struggle, and i hate no refueling even tho thats what gets webber half the time (well used to). but other than that i cant wait

14th March 2010, 06:13 PM
Im curious to see how safety is effected by the rule changes. Obviously no refueling is much safer. I was watching that 2009 montage they did and saw the footage of the car driving down pitlane with half a fueling rig hanging off it and the car behind bursts into flame!!!!
BUT this leads to a heavy fuel load on cold tires at the start of each race which might make turn one of lap one a bit more exciting! And then add to that this front tyre size reduction looks like it would lead to more understeer and less brakes!
And having watched qualifying the other night they were understeering a fair bit even with the light fuel loads!
So basically heavier load less traction at the front and no more brakes than previously. should be fun expecially since webber was running out of brakes last year on light loads!!

Also the new section of the track looks bumpy as all shit!!!!

Something else i think will be very interesting is this no tire change from P3 rule means that 11th position on the grid has a big advantage! they can choose tires which means the all the first ten will be on the soft tires which look like they will be fecked after a few laps so all the first ten have to pit early. So P11 will start on better tires and start taking positions then go to the front after everyone pits!! Obviously this may not be the case for other tracks but apparently the medium tire is the one to be on at bahrain!
The funniest thing of all is that as i hear it most of the teams have said that sitting out P3 qualifying is a valid tactic!! So unless they are sure they can get pole they won't go out of the pits during p3 and qualify in tenth with the tire they want to start the race on!
I don't think anyone was interested in doing it at bahrain since they needed the testing time and practice on the new section and statistically P1 always wins at bahrain.
But im sure that nobody will be pleased if it ends up with two teams lapping during p3 and everyone else chilling out!

14th March 2010, 09:58 PM
cool that alonso is now going to friends with the fia after the monaco incident i think he learnt you have to be a ferrari driver to be friends with max.

14th March 2010, 11:05 PM
FUCK!!! Webber makes a massive cloud of oil smoke of the first corner of the first lap!!!!!

R&D Mechanical
14th March 2010, 11:10 PM
think its alright now :S

14th March 2010, 11:25 PM
yeah yeah thats what it wants you to think!! It will wait till he recovers and gets past schumacher then blow up or throw a wheel off or something!!

R&D Mechanical
14th March 2010, 11:26 PM
he will have a heart attack :P

14th March 2010, 11:27 PM
well that would be a change from what normally breaks down at red bull!! :P

15th March 2010, 11:12 AM
red cars got 1.2 . and vettel's red bull breaking down after 30ish laps... and go.

15th March 2010, 12:01 PM
my boy alonso is back, wooooo

15th March 2010, 12:14 PM
boring race.
the drivers were all saying overtaking up front was pretty much impossible, i dont know if i am a fan of the no refueling.
But Bahrain is a super boring track, its only early days yet.

15th March 2010, 12:33 PM
no fueling is interesting but someone made a good point last night that if they cant re-fuel then that would mean they couldn't or are restricted to going flat out all the time.

yes early days. so melbourne in 2week right.

15th March 2010, 12:37 PM
just makes the end of the race more interesting.

15th March 2010, 03:35 PM
I wasn't a fan of no refueling, but now I don't mind it. It means there is a lot more up in the air with setups and the cars handeling changing through the race.
Last nights race was quite boring, but I'm happy the season has started, and there are better race to come.
I think Bahrain would make a better drift track. There is a whole section of sweeping bends and transition bliss.
Anyway, the guys called the reliability thing with the Redbulls before the race. I believe Webber had the same header problem last year in a race.
I hope they have got their shit together this year, and this was a once off, or someone NEEDS to go!
Schuy did well. The car/team seems quick.

15th March 2010, 03:36 PM
my boy alonso is back, wooooo

Ferrari is back, wooooo!

Anyone care to make a prediciton on the champion for this year?

I was thinking Vettel, but I'm not sure thats possible with Redbull ATM.

I'm gonna say Massa or Alonso.

15th March 2010, 03:47 PM
Yeah I guess the headers dont get vibes whilst they're logging hours on the dyno. TIG man needs more red bull! (or maybe less)

26th March 2010, 11:05 AM
If you're like me and have nothing to do today, practice starts at 12 on ONE.

26th March 2010, 01:19 PM
hope webber gets a win this year ... so sick of seeing and hearing him cry yes yes yes .. all over 1hd .

27th March 2010, 12:43 PM
Hamilton charged with hoon laws.
LOL Dickhead!

"It's understood he told police he was worried the incident would dent his reputation."
Ah, I think you did that the year you won your championship, knob!

28th March 2010, 12:34 AM
wtf? best driver on the grid! he was just doing a typical mercedes promo.

28th March 2010, 05:50 PM
bah! Its just another case of the anally retentive fun police pissing on people's parades. Top news "F1 driver does a skid!" OH NOES!!!!
Lets face it hooning is about endangering the public. How much does one of the best, most highly trained drivers in the world (like top ten surely) doing a skid in a high tech high safety car endanger people?
Its not like he's doing nuts in his VN commonwhore after having a can down the local with the boys!

On another note! Webber is charging!!! I turned on just in time to see him run off and thought oh here we go another red bull dnf and next second he's cracked the shits and making heaps of time on people!!! GO WEBBER!!!
The only problem is i can't decide whether i want webber or hamilton to win. It would be pretty sweet if hamilton wins and goes stick up your bum hooning laws :P

29th March 2010, 09:28 AM
:gah:ohhhh FUCK ..webbber .. wtf was he doing:cries:

29th March 2010, 10:14 AM
awesome race, pitty about the Red Bulls, their reliability seems to be a big issue.

29th March 2010, 11:41 AM
Renault is sexy

29th March 2010, 04:04 PM
Yeh Webber fucked that all himself, next time maybe.

On Hamilton, I just don't like the guy, far too arrogant and not tackful about it at all.

What a great race though, so much action.

30th March 2010, 03:17 PM
Went to the Formula 1 never been before was awsome, my uncle was racing a formula ford so got free tickets with pit pass, all i had to do was be pit crew just prep his car before each race. Was so good to be able to get so close to the cars and see all the drivers i even got on tv a couple times because we where aloud to go onto the main straight after the warn up lap to help line up each driver.
The sound and speed is amazing, corner speed is mind blowing looks so much faster then watching on tv. Cant wait to go agian got alot of photos will get some up soon.

6th April 2010, 03:45 PM
malaysia was awesome

8th April 2010, 03:33 PM
Malaysia was a little like Bahrane with a more action and a better result :)

16th April 2010, 10:06 PM
Jeeesus. Lucky that happened on a corner with plenty of run off. Pretty strange failure.

18th April 2010, 08:26 PM
it was a pretty exciting race. a couple of teams jumped the gun with going to inters to quickly. i thought the reno team had a good race and looked like they had a good setup to keep the tyres so good at the end of the race. and another race where redbull team has made the wrong decision and cost there drivers dearly. i was very suprised that there isnt any investigation about what button did at the end of the last safety car, i know he can slow them down but that was stupid especially in the wet where grip isnt that great and no downforce there could have been a massive crash in the middle of the field, which really fucked webber at the last corner. and as if hamilton didnt know what pit stop the interviewer so talked about with his run in with vettel, being in that position i dont think you could forget about it to quickly. and well done to rosburg for beating his team mate again, everyone was saying at the start of the season that he would e the number 2 driver in that team

19th April 2010, 12:45 PM
^^^^ +1 .

another dissapointing race for red bull and webber. they need to get their shit sorted.

19th April 2010, 03:20 PM
That was another great race! 2 from 4, F1 is doing well this year :P
Well REDBULL proves that having the fastest car means nothing without a skilled team and drivers to keep it up the front.

20th April 2010, 01:13 PM
i reckon vettel has got the skills to be up front ... as much as i like webber and support the aussie , something about his driving i dont like or lacks . it was a bad call overall by the team which cost them the race .....

have to say that Hamilton worked for his money in shanghai .. and lastly wtf is up with Micheal S. i thought he would be up there this year with all his knowledge and experience surely he can find his optimum setup ..

20th April 2010, 02:26 PM
The whole redbull team is skilled enough to be up the front, but they don't seem consistant enough overall to win a championship yet.
I think Shuy's car is letting him down atm, but they have some upgrades to come before the next race which will make the car a bit faster.
I don't know why Shuy is getting so much flack though. Sure he's a multi world champ, but the guy hasn't raced at the top for a few years, and he's not in the fastest car anymore. The cars and championship have changed heaps since his last F1 race.
Finishing in the top 10 is nothing to dissmiss.

21st April 2010, 05:28 PM
hey im off to singapore in september for the nightrace cant wait  yahoo

21st April 2010, 05:43 PM
Yeah I reckon Redbull is skilled they just lack consistency, Webber keeps doing great quick laps but then after a few he'll drop like 10 seconds! which is why he keeps doing well in qualifying.

21st April 2010, 08:25 PM
hey im off to singapore in september for the nightrace cant wait  yahoo

My mate is doing that for his bucks night/weekend. I cant justify the expense though, when i'm trying to build my cars.
You will have much fun though.....

22nd April 2010, 04:48 AM
no excuses dom, come with !!!

10th May 2010, 08:07 PM
I wish I could Dazz.
How good was that race for Webber?? Almost perfect i think.
Was prettty boring all up. Some good fights back in the field though.
I almost felt sorry for Hamilton with his late exit from the race :)
Vettel did well to make it to the end.

10th May 2010, 10:14 PM
me and dad loved it when hamilton fell off, we both hate him. webber had a really good race shame hamilton got the fastest lap in the end. alonso had a very luckly race to finish second

11th May 2010, 12:07 AM
webber could have easily stepped it up to a faster lap but he had too much to lose and nothing to gain.

11th May 2010, 05:06 PM
Well Webber did consistanly have the fastest lap till he backed off. I think he played it well.
And as driftke70 said, he could have has the fastest lap, but he could have also put it in the wall.

13th May 2010, 03:14 PM
anyone know where i could download the race i missed it?

13th May 2010, 07:40 PM
anyone know where i could download the race i missed it?

try google search f1 spain race downloads

and i know webber could have did the fastest lap if he wanted to but there was to much at stake maybe if hamilton crashed with 10 laps to go he might have tried to get the trifecta

18th May 2010, 04:01 PM
Another win for Webber, from another almost perfect weekend for him.
Can he get 3 in a row??

18th May 2010, 07:14 PM
Another win for Webber, from another almost perfect weekend for him.
Can he get 3 in a row??

i think he was more dominant at monaco than spain because of how hard the course is and also that he kept it together after all those safety cars and not get to fustrated and try to blitz the field everytime. webber was so lucky he wasnt closer to the two back markers when they clashed. unlucky for button, wonder if that person who left it in still has a job. i would have loved to watch footage of rubens throw his steering wheel and lewis run over it, that would be the an awesome piece of debri to pick up.

18th May 2010, 08:40 PM
Lol. Yeh that crash in front of Webber would have made him shit a little for sure.

31st May 2010, 02:35 PM
turkish gp full of controversy and inter-team rivalry...unluckv result for redbull.

31st May 2010, 02:55 PM
yeah they all need to have a chat to barachello

31st May 2010, 03:11 PM
some awesome racing last night .

vettel . vettel vettel. i understand he wanted to overtake .. but fuck me .. no need to take webber out .
red bull's team manger would of been pissed.

31st May 2010, 05:04 PM
yeah from a basically guaranteed 1-2 to a 3- dnf

31st May 2010, 05:51 PM
somemore rumours

31st May 2010, 06:00 PM
pretty interesting, they are over estimating vettels ability i think.
also I dont feel that they would have needed to switch webber onto a different map.

vettel could have easily waited till the next corner or made it much more obvious to mark that he wanted to pass.
If mark HAD switched over to the conservative map then he would have known very well that we was going slower.
Going slower would have meant he was watching his mirrors and expecting someone on his tail.
His engineer could have very easily said to let him through or to be wary that he is gaining quickly.

Its because webber is australian old and married.

They want to promote the new young gun

i thought there was a rule about teams orders on letting your team mate over take you. and they monitor every single radio talk as well. atleast webber could have still finished in a decend position and still leading the championship outright (congrats webber). i dont know what footage marko and horner was watching to say it was all webber fault, he stood his ground vettel had plenty of room. and also eddie jordan said the same thing that it was webbers fault. man webber was bitting his tongue in the end of race interview.

http://sundayafternoonclub.blogs.topgear.com/2010/05/30/vettel-i-did-nothing-wrong/ (an article with vettel saying it was webbers fault)

So much Vettel hate going on at the moment, It wasnt all of Vettel's faulty, morelike youthfull exuberance.
I dont think there is any 1 person to blame for incident, ofcourse webber stayed and moved left to prevent Vettel from a easy move, forcing Vettel to move left and then right, hitting Webber.
I dont know if he already thought he passed him or not. or didnt want to go on the grass.

But whatever, its racing. Vettel is still my favourite driver on the grid.

he cant be the new m shoe without some antics like this

1st June 2010, 11:57 AM
with so much at stake, consrtuctors and championship titles, christian horner must bare most of the blame.
with the last two laps before the incident vettel was .2 sec faster per sector than mark, so a fight for the lead was inevitable.
horner should have dictatated instructions to the drivers to press or not to press...
as much as i admire vettel for his skill and speed, theres a part of me that wants webber to kick his ass....lol

bring on the F-duct already!!!!

It deffinately wasn't a black and white incident. They were both at fault IMO.
Mark should have given Vettel more room, but he held his line. Vettel shouldn't have turned so aggressively into Mark, but Vettel got a great run out of the corner on Webber in the lead up to the love tap so he just went for it.
Both of them should have give each other room, just cos they are team mates. But both are Racing drivers and both wanted the win.
Not good for the team, but ended up pretty good for Webber with a good lead over Vettel in the championship.
It made for vary interesting race what ever you think.
I was really hoping for 3 in a row though for Mark.... That is what I was most dissapointed in.
You gotta say though, Webbers luck is looking up. If that incident had have happened 2 years ago, he'd be dead!

1st June 2010, 10:47 PM
yeah but it wouldn't have happened this way two years ago, because red bull weren't finishing races let alone leading them or the championship.

2nd June 2010, 09:24 PM
I haven't been paying attention. Has Webber won yet?

2nd June 2010, 09:36 PM
LOL he's leading the championship, and it was an equal lead with his team mate until they crashed into each other last race!
Now he is leading with mclaren nipping at his heels and the next track favours mclaren's higher top end speed!!!

15th June 2010, 08:52 PM
Bad Rebull team stradegy is all I have to say.
Was an interesting and exciting race to say the least....

15th June 2010, 10:12 PM
see at the end vettel was slowing and webber easily had the times to pass him but team orders made them both slow down for some reason.
red bull really wants vettel ahead for some reason.

15th June 2010, 10:26 PM
they can sell the shit out of him, unlike Webber who is coming to the end of his career in comparison

16th June 2010, 12:17 PM
I don't understand why Webber made his first stop so early.
Surely if he had of stayed out longer on the first set of 'hards' his lead would have increased in the open track, he would have made better use of the second set increasing his lead which would have meant he would have made good use of the 'softs'.
He would have won or at minimum finished on the podium.
That was the whole point of qualifying on the hards, to get a longer first stint?

So, who spotted Webber trying to be the first F1 driver to launch a moon mission??
He's already twice the first Le Mons Driver to do so :P.
Is the pressure too much for him?? Two brain fades this season might indicate that.
I personally think the Mark was more at fault for that accident. He just should have handled the situation better IMO.
Did anyone here if the 7 or so drivers that were speeding under full coarse yellow were penalized? That would shake things up a bit...
And Hamilton proved again, just why he's a twat! LOL. Was quite funny to watch the replay though, and you have to admire his abillity to fuck drivers over at every opotunity, lol.

30th June 2010, 06:55 PM

Ten drivers were given post race penalties

30th June 2010, 07:01 PM
I only saw a bit of the race, what did hamilton do?

30th June 2010, 07:18 PM
rubbed tyres with a few front wings seemingly deliberately.

also webber was stonkingly fast before his accident, i was watching the live timing he did 2 fastest sectors in a row by a fairly serious margin.
when he is pissed he fucking drives well

kovalinen was trying to block when he was more than 2 seconds a lap off the pace

1st July 2010, 02:00 PM
Maybe they didn't show enough before the short straight the crash happened on, but from the vision they showed on telly, it looks like Webber was following trying to draft, and moving when Kovalinen did.
Then Kovalinen brakes for the corner and Webber misses/miss judges the brake marker (possibly because Kovalinen bakes earlier) and plowes into the back of the Lotus.
I may be way off, but that's what the vision looks like to me.

Kovalinen braked way earlier then his previous lap...

1st July 2010, 04:46 PM
Yeh that would explain a lot.
From the out side shot (camera on the out side middle of the corner), they do appear to be way back from the corner.
Brake check maybe, gone horribly wrong?

2nd July 2010, 06:51 PM
did kovalinen get penalised at all for it?

3rd July 2010, 08:37 PM
I think its more Webbers faullt personally

4th July 2010, 10:19 PM
old mate kov braked 80m earleir than the previous lap, and moved to the right at the time of braking.... weber had no where to go man.... no way the telemetry says anything other than kovy at fault....

ps you need to get yor toolbox dude... we sell up soon :P

27th July 2010, 05:01 PM
ferrari is gay .. what a disgrace ..

what would you have done if you were alsono ?

27th July 2010, 07:14 PM
i proply would have done the same as alonso. there professional drivers they got to take every chance to improve there position (as hamilton does often which most other drivers wouldnt atempt) and when he was on the podium he didnt really celebrate, and in the interview he didnt really want to talk about. i loved massa's answers when he keep getting asked about it. other than that it was a bit of an average race, proply due to it being a narrow track. and good work for ferrari for being so strong.

and did f1 start to have a budget because the last few race they have bearly had a table on front of them in the post race interviews. know they have same dicky little thing where they have to reach down to get the drinks.

27th July 2010, 08:27 PM
bit of a shame really

28th July 2010, 03:45 AM
just a heads up...new top gear ep has a very good section on Senna...including hamilton driving Senna's old car...

worth a watch

2nd August 2010, 03:45 PM
Webber is back on top of the championship too now. He still has a chance.......

2nd August 2010, 11:23 PM
as soon as i saw webber didnt pit straightaway i thought redbull f'ed up once again which they did. webber was lucky that they had a fast car and that the tyres didnt grain. he ended up flogging alonso. and schuey defents a little to much some times

2nd August 2010, 11:28 PM
did you see his interview after "i saw him coming up behind me so i pulled over to teh side to let him past, but he went on the wrong side"

redbull did very well with their pit strategy, pitted and came out still in the lead. Alonso was gold on the radio "so where is webber now, have i passed him???" "nah sorry he is still infront of you"

24th August 2010, 02:16 PM
just watched this over the weekend .. and wow!! wat an episode .. for any f1 fans you have to watch this episode of top gear ..
