Saw 4 Ae's on the track, didnt pay attention to car park.
White one
Black one
Green one
Red one
All adm!

Green looked like luke fink's ex daily.
anyone on here own the above?

White one went hard, red followed nicely (too bad you rocked up late mang), black was improving alot throughout the day good effort, and green was pretty hektik.

Oh and gotta add, dark Chaser without front bumper was pretty fkn mental! Props to insane drifters, they took over!

Black one is brown when you look close and owned by stylz i think is arthurs nick on here and green one is not finks old car finks old car had wide body and it was 1 of three ae86s that all got painted the same colour the same time and is owned by albert

Well I had my red ae71 there the one with superlites on the front not challengers. But only got one session in before I blew the motor!

He said the engine and driveline was all working perfectly, and it was chewing tyres well.

He was however having issues with the front end. Hes got some weld on sleeve coil-over kit and I just dont think it was working for him, also had little to no adjustment in the front end and he noticed due to the lack of negative camber up front that the tyre was litterally folding under when he would turn hard. To the point where there was more sidewall on the ground than tread.

All small issues I think, thing will be a monster when its all set up.

Yeah, I was there. Had a few little issues (over heating, loosing brakes, cooler piping, gay things). But I busted like 8 360's, so I was happy. Haha.

Had a skid in Alberts car too, damn it was good to be back in a 4AG Corolla, even if was only for two laps.

So tempting Arthur, espesially with that turbz kit. I forgot why I pretty much spat on the S13 the day I bought it, Alberts car is so much more responsive and direct in the handling department (than my S13), especially with the R1Rs he was running up front. You point the thing, and it went where you wanted it to.

The only issue I would have with your car would be my driving mentality (the fact that I spend more time TRYING to hit things on the side of the track or other cars than NOT trying to) hence why I think I should go back to my original plan and jump back in a KE. Or just keep the dirty datsun.

fair bit of carnage for a practice day!, heaps of crashes and engine/ gearbox failures, but it did get me motivated to get out there myself, even though I only got on the track for the arvo,

totally worth it haha,

cant wait for the next one, ill see how the 7ac goes in the comp haha

ID did extremely well with the s14 and 180, the skyline however could have done abit better..
The 180 i think with cop lights at the front was cutting sick !

Nath (sprinter86) was only driving in the afternoon, in the 7AC powered white AE71.

Maybe its just be me not particularly liking the ID guys (except Nigel) that taints my views of there skid skills.

intresting of your thoughts matt.. im probably just not as experienced as you guys in viewing and rating drifts, but i stick to my word, they were my highlights with their close runs, amount of smoke and angles, and i can only think of once or twice one of them span out.

It was definatly better, but still needs a lot of fine tuning. There was only one safety car running for the day which held things up once or twice, but all in all the day flowed quite well. I was wondering where you were, no license? Ill be the same in 2 weeks, just come up the road to my property and we will just skid my dirt KE, haha. Keen?

Thats Warrick. He usually does the start line (and was for part of the day on sunday), hes on the board. Pretty sure he does quite a large amount of work within Vicdrift, hence probably desrves to be in every group, haha.

His MX5 is VERY cool as well, turbo 1.8. I think he said on saturday night (I was a little pissed, so could be wrong) that it was making about 150-160 at the wheels.

i reckon you harden the fuck up and get it cause it comes with the long champs and everything. do eittt.
