the local toyota dealear near me had one. i shat my self driving past. not as cool as the first bB's but still look ok, def. better thana kia soul... thoes things didnt sell at all ive seen two on the road over the last year.

as said, the cubes only been available for a year or so. the main guy that brings them in, brings them into brisbane so theres quite a few more around here than else where at the moment i would think. but its such a novility car and for 15 ~ 20k its not really in the price range of people that would actually tune them. theres a flower shop on my way to work that had an nissan Scargo till about 6months ago when they replaced it with a cube. thats the sort of market the'll end up being. mum's and small biz ladys that are not into owning Suv's but like something with space.

I work at at Toyota dealership. I have had a quick look at one in the flesh. I looked in the engine bay for about 3 seconds and decided it was the same as Camry/ RAV4. 2AZ-FE, nothing new. Rear suspension is simlilar to Camry also (it was only a very quick look).

my sources have told me that oz will only get the 2.4 motor in auto only. as you say johnny the rest is pretty much basic camry stuff (makes it cheap to build, repair, work on).
we also will get next to none options that the US gets...

i read they start at like $27000, thats a joke if they expect to sell what is essentially a larger cabbined corolla. pretty sure the wheelbase is practically identical, the rear has a shorter track than a corolla, but the front is identical?? wierd.

I rate this scion - had a sit in one the other day and it has soooo much room inside. I love the box shape too. Really wished it would come in manual though - I hate autos unless it's SMG style one.

Reading thru one of my step wagon mags and theres a place selling kits for them. they were calling it a corolla something? will check when i get home. but yeah... def said corolla.

i'd take the first bB over this one or a cube anyday... you can import the bB's just seams no one has yet.
