As the title would say I am looking to buy a dial Indicator.

What would you recommend for use with the 4age engines? Metric or Imperial?

Also there are different ranges that you can get, which one is better?

I have used an imperial one to dial in a cam for a falcon but I'm not sure about the 4ages.

I have only ever used a metric one and never seen a imperial. I personaly would only buy a metric as the imperial days are long gone and although some people [oldies and Americans lol] seem to use the imperial measurments most of the people I deal with in my workplace [engineering and maintenance] use metric. It really would depend on what you prefer. they will both do the same thing and you can always convert the readings to metric or imperial if you wanted.

I use an imperial dial gauge for work, only because 75% of the shit i machine is imperial. I much prefer metric though, PITA converting measurements all the time
