hey guys my 4ac needs a service and tune bad. running rich and idling really low. where in brisbane is a good place to get this done. preferably on northside.

Really, you should be able to do the service yourself. Plugs, leads, dizzy cap, rotor button, oil, oil filter etc? Will cost alot less to do it yourself.

For a tune, you could always read up on it and have a crack at it yourself.

Where are you located?

the service i am fine to do. i mainly was after tune. i have tried looking but finding it difficult to find much info on 4ac. im located in nundah

im sure someone on here would be able to give you a hand. i would offer but i don't know a carb from a cheese grater.

put a litre of kero in your inlet.... watch the magic happen.

lols not really, just turn your mixture screw till it sounds right.

have you bought an engine manual yet?

despite what others may say, the 4ac isnt that bad of an engine. its 1.6L in a small car, just ignore the guys above me....

but yes buy an engine manual. everything is explained with pictures.

a can of carby cleaner will do wonders though..

any good auto shop can get you one in.

"gregories" have always been good.

about $40 though.

repco/bursons even supercheap auto.
