Fly Ryder: There is no deadline as such, but I would really appreciate it if we can get the payment out of the way and lock in the spot so that way I don't have to go and look for people to make up the number at the last minute.

Thanks

Hi Everyone,

Just want to check if everyone is happy with the date? if not, please let me know your prefer date and I will see if I can reschedule it to suit you better.

Dazzla86 Thurday that week is fully booked so there is nothing we can do. I can get a Tueday 17 or Thursday 26 of the following week.

Also if anyone was wondering why I choose to do this during the week the reason behind this is the short track is not available on weekend due to the V8s. So the only day that we can have both skidpan and short track is Mon-Thur.

Thanks guys:thumbup:

Since no one said anything I assume everyone is happy with the date? Alright Date is now fixed we'll go with the 18 of March.

FLCL: I don't know where you work, but can't you just tell them you got some personal stuff to take care of and need half a day off? You've got plenty of time to let them know like 1 whole month :P

My car should be ready on time, but I'm a little worried about the roadworthy requirements as my car is what people refer to as a rustbucket. Who'll actually be running the day as I wouldn't mind giving them a quick ring just to check?

Tom86
19th February 2009, 06:44 PM

There is actually no proper scrutineering or road worthy check. It's more like a self check make sure there is no lose object in the car and car doesn't leak fluid etc.so unless your car is really in a bad shape with bits falling off I think it should be ok. But if you worry here is their website http://www.dtec.com.au/ there is a phone number there somewhere.

19th February 2009, 07:09 PM
Sweet. Car needs a little bit more work before I'll put money on it, but it should be ready for it's first shakedown by then.

19th February 2009, 07:44 PM
ahh so want to go but im having the shitest of luck with my diff so if any one knows where i can get a diff center?????

also do the guys at ahg still hate people using the skidpan as a SKIDpan. last time i was there they didnt worry to much but it wasnt continous drifting instead it was more going for lap times

FLCL
19th February 2009, 07:59 PM
silwa was there couple of weeks ago. morning group were pretty gungho about skids but he let it go so long as you were in full control. wasnt too happy about doing the entire course like that though.

still negosiating my early leave that day. car still leaks oil so ill have to pull my finger out and fix it next week. weee for skids.

So for those that still have pending payment please pay up before the end of the month or you may lose your spot.

Thanks You:)
