what makes these $500 more than other castor rods?

these actually replace the front castor rod mount, which allows you to run a 'drop out' sway bar design, instead of the faggoty factory setup.

so you actually get an improved front end design as well as on car castor adjustment from STRONG and sexy looking castor arms.

i USED to have a pair of these.........:right: back in the days when i was nice and all too trusting

Cusco caster rods are the best, especially when teamed up to the Cusco lower control arm(fabricated one).

Theyre worth "$500 extra" for a number of reasons.

1. Because, theyre quality, cusco, made in japan, not china junk off ebay.
2. They run a stand alone bracket out of tube which is FAR stronger than the pressed steel factory on. A bracket that can deal with the extra forces from a car that would use this item.
3. They use an excellent rod end in them. Mine in my car have done 20,000kms, and theyre like new.
4. The allow the swaybar to drop out (so you dont have to thread it through) makes changing front bar take 10mins in stead of 1 hour.
5. They run a stand alone bracket out of tube which is FAR stronger than the pressed steel factory on. A bracket that can deal with the extra forces from a car that would use this item.
6. The dollar is at .72, so not that great.
7. As theyre longer you have more scope for adjustment (ken has 7 i have 5.5)

Thatll do for now, but if youre spending proper money on your car, its worth spending proper money on caster rods.

far too many people on here dnt spend proper money...most take shortcuts or sell up prior to completion...

I run the cusco front formula link lower arm and caster rods, I reckon that cusco's lower arm(fab one) is better than others on the market, you pay for what you get.
