hi guys.

does anybody know where i can find some hub centric rings to suit an ae86 rear end (t series) in melbourne, preferably in the west.

ID is 60.1mm and OD is 73.1mm

i checked autobarn in altona and they were too retarted to even know what i was saying.

i'll check ttf tomorrow, its round the corner so yer.

I got some for free from the tyre shop that fitted my tyres. They're a hard plastic type material.

I can imagine most wheel and tyre shops would have them on hand...

What are they for?

With 4 wheel nuts, isn't the wheel going to be perfectly centred anyway?

the wheel nuts are only to hold the wheel up on the hub and hub and the center in the wheel should fit nice as this is what take all load on the road . the studs can brake off

add to this slop in non taper wheel fastening methods as well as non perfect pcd drillings will cause the wheel to not run true.

i just bought a set off ebay for $21.90 posted to my door.

they are used to centralize your wheels when they rotate and chances are yes, that they will 'centralize' fine without the hub centric rings but at $20 you might find your ride to become smoother with them.

also - people running wheels that have been re-drilled should use them to ensure the wheel is 100% centred
