Event Title: DRIFT DAY EASTERN CREEK (peanut track)

EVENT OPEN

LOCATION = EASTERN CREEK (peanut track)

TIME TABLE

7:30AM GATES OPEN
8:00AM SCRUTINEERING
8:30AM DRIVER SIGN ON
9:00AM DRIVER BRIEFING
9:30AM START TRACK ACTIVITY
11:30AM LUNCH
4:30PM END TRACK ACTIVITY

SPECTATOR
everybody is welcome to spectate at our events entry is FREE
we have an associate membership package available for spectators
costs $40 you get t-shirt, sticker, membership card & a free drink at all our events
you can apply for this on the day.

SCRUTINEERING
your car will need to pass scrutineering
brakes, brake lights, seatbelts/harnesses, windscreen wipers all need to work properly
drivers seat must be secured properly all wheel nuts must be present
you will need a secondary bonnet restraint if you dont have one just bring a short rope & the
scrutineer will assist you installing it

DRIVER
to drive you will need appropriate clothing (non flamable)
your clothes must cover you from neck to wrists to ankles
closed shoes must be worn
and only helmets with the AS1698 sticker affixed can be used

COST
$45 if you want to go passenger all day long
$70 if your a member with driftmob & have a cams license
$70 if your not a member with driftmob & have a cams license
we can issue you with a cams license on the day
if you want to become a member you can apply on the day

HOW TO PAY
entrants can pay on the day but we recommend prepaying to secure a spot
at this stage we can accept cash & eftpos if you want to pay on the day

PREPAY
deposit total amount and bring your reciept with you on the day
no prepayments after wednesday 25th August

for confirmation you will need to email driftmob@bigpond.com with your remittance name & angela our secretary
will confirm your spot

just a quick run down for the day,
we are track time orientated this means we will not stop for lunch
we have permitted passengers at this event
if you have any questions please ask but if its a noob question and somebody shoots you down its not my fault... :P

i think its $35 but its a very cheap day in the way of entry fees all you need then is tires and petrol done and done

Awesome. Do they have to pay or can I take anyone? My first drift mob day, not sure how they run.

I'll be driving. First drift day :) very excited, should turn out to be a good day lots of people going by looks of it.

long shot, but will there be a tyre changer there?

also, how many cars are allowed on at once and what speeds can you get up to on the peanut?

no tyre changer,

2 cars on at once. U won't get out of second gear the whole time your on the track mate.

well that's 80 in my corona so sounds good to me - never been there but judging by some vids i watched, no more than 60km/h?

i guess it depends on your setup and commitment i can pull 3rd gear on the top corner and Beau Jones blew his sr20 in 4th gear so it comes down to how long is a piece of string meaning its all relative you wont know until you get out there and hit it

Yeah I'm looking forward to it. I haven't been on track for about 5 months. I've got 20v and 4.77s and it's all 2nd gear.

Well keen for tandems!
