I would like to present you all with details of the first ever CCG Skidpan day.

We'll have 10 spots available to ensure the maximum amount of time on the skidpan. These days are great fun and not very taxing on your car at all, you also learn a lot about your car and car control too.

Cost is $120 each up front, so make sure you get in soon to secure your place.

This event is open to anyone and any vehicle type, so if you have a mate, friend or enemy who would like to come along that'll be fine. Spectators also welcome!!

What you get:
* Introduction to advanced car control and skid control
* Cornering techniques
* Defensive driving techniques
* Update your knowledge of your vehicles technology
* Emergency response techniques
* One-on-one coaching
* Time on the skidpan

This is a legal requirement and will be being monitored

Once the 10 spaces have been filled, anyone interested will be added to a reserves list. If anyone isn’t able to turn up, their spot will be offered to the next person on the reserves list. Money will be refunded once that person has paid. If there is no-one left on the reserves list, it is up to you to find someone to take your spot. Not sure on the Drifty bit but i know Derek (5th Gear) mentioned really loud exhausts would be a problem.

is this on the skidpan or the skid track?

I am thinking of trying to organise one through rick bates driving school, but this is a little cheaper too..

Mind you I cant do anything on Sundays anyway :(

ps if its anything like the rick bates one while they dont exactly call it drifting, its a skidpan car control course, so the idea is to get things a bit crossed up
