hey

theres lots of talk about using 100kw dizzy, i had one on another car of mine so i put it in and tried it but it doesnt work for me.

Can it just be used if you take the cap off? has anyone actually done this?

ive heard of ppl modifiying the dizzy to make it work?

Slight brainfart on my part. What model GZE do you have? Mine worked from a 4AGE smallport ADM to a 4AGZE MAP sensored AE92 model.

i do not have a 4agze, rather i have a 7rib block w/bigport head, bigport manifold with tvis removed

i am running a stinger ems 4424 with 4 bosch coils, t28 turbo

i am borrowing a friends cas and almost had it running tonight, will know tomorrow night hopefully if the 100kw dizzy will work or not

Ah, depends on what the Stinger was setup for then. It could be running on either a 4-1 setup or a 24-1 setup. 4-1 was bigport 4AGE and GZE, and 24-1 was smallport GE and GZE

Having previously been running a GZE crank angle sensor, we assume it would be 24-1.
I checked it out last night and the trigger is the same for small port dist. and gze dli.

There were a few more sinister problems than not getting a spark which we rectified first, and then got a cough out of it, before cranking voltage dropped below 9v.
I assume that the Stinger's have a cutoff limit of 10v similar to MoTeC and Microtech ecu's.

Nah, early GZEs came with a 4-1 same as bigport GEs. Not that it matters much if the software in the Stinger says 24-1
