Hey guys,

Today i picked up my first car off of a friend, after I sold it to him about a year ago. basically he had stripped it and got it defected. So here it is today, a bare shell that's even rustier and beaten up compared to when i sold it, that WILL build up as quickly as my funds will let me.

Basically, the plans are to fix the rust temporarily untill i can afford a respray, put a 4age in and practice drifting in it.

Mods so far:

Cut down RT142 Avante rear lip
deleted rear doors
Stripped interior
When I first got it before i sold it:

Basically, cut however many mm from the middle ( I can't remember at this point in time) to make it sit even, then just drill holes where the bolts go, do the nuts up and away ya go! do remember though, mine isnt finished. i need it to be plas welded up..

UPDATE!
lots of sanding has been done in the engine bay, as i am respraying it because there was rust and it was chipped etc.. will be getting painted satin black ( pic attached) Keep spotting an AE71 spirit not too far from where i live, so hopefully i will have a donor car,and i will probably cum swap it also. I've found a cheap enough 4AGE that i will be purchasing in the near future.
I hacked at the rear gaurds also. Still going on the rust, (I cant beleive how much of a shit job i did last time)

Im not gonna put any proper due dates down, but im hoping to have this running and sliding by about march-april 2011.

Panno or T18 doors are deffinately on the cards for a bit later on in the build. firstly, i just wanna get the thing running. but, 2 door conversion will happen.

just as a suggestion, i know primer looks great and all but its actually porous meaning water can get through to the metal underneath, you really do need to give it a coat of paint to protect the metal underneath

also it will be a hell of a lot easier to clean
