I seem to have 1 PM Notification always when I visit the site, but alas there is no PM for me. (I have no friends:cries:)

The notification tab says there is one more PM there there actually is. If I do have 2 PM's in the folder it says 3 in the notification tab.

I have checked a few times through my PM folder and a have opened all my PMs.

They go into a different section

About 12 months ago, a spammer sent a crapload of PM's to members

Maybe it is a notification for that deleted PM.

I will have a look tonight.

I've had the same issue. It always says I have one new private message. Looking at the inbox, there are no unread messages. However, I just tried selecting all messages and marking as read again, and the notification is gone!

I found the unread pm. It was the first pm, last one on the list on page 3 which is why i missed it. ...And oddly, it was dated 1970 which I'm guessing is why it went to the bottom of the list.
There didn't appear to be anything to open either.
I now have a incoming friend request which I cant accept or delete. (Yay, I have a friend!)

same thing happened to me. i cant read the one from 1970 lol but i marked it as unread and is all goo now
