Hey Guys

I've been in sydney for about 5 months now after moving over from NZ

Have finally got my life sorted and am Now looking to buy a another 85 0r 86

Back in NZ I had a 1983 AE85 with a 3sgte and W55 Combo running a hybrid T3/T4 and Link Ecu

Going to stay N/A this time

Is there anything that I need to make sure of before I purchase a car?

Also do you guys ever meet up?

Im in Wollstonecraft, nice and close to work in St Leonards

I would be keen on the EOMM, But alas no car yet, but am working on getting one currently

N/A FTW at the moment havn't had high revving fun for ages, Turbo was great and had heaps of tourque but made the car boring

Hahaha Id love to do any of the above but will have to wait until I purchase my own car

It's not to bad so far, nice looking AE you have there

Where in NZ were you from?

I've spent the last 4 year in Auckland, Before that 3 years in New Plymouth and before that was Nelson

Looking at a 20v 86 from Victoria at the moment

What to make sure of?

I wouldn't say that theres much different to check for in our AE86's than when buying any other 2nd hand car. But main tips I guess would be to be sure that the engine conversion has been done properly(if you want something with more than 4-AC) and that rust wont be too much of an issue for you.
