Ive got a JDM 86 with power steering and i want to keep it, definitely keeping it end of story, but i want to get some more lock now ive had a look at the many topics on more lock but they are all about manual racks.

What do you do with power steeing 86's when you want more lock? or is it just the same stuff?

i'v never seen a p/s rack but if you can be bothere pull it out and see what is stopping it from turning further. see if it runs out of teeth on the rack or if the rack ends are hitting the housing

Maybe he has a twin turbo 350 chev?
In all seriousness power steering is a personal preference, a google search will net you some better results. I know that you can buy extra lock tie rods from the US and the t3 arms as stated above.

Had powersteering in mine and wanted more lock so I had the knuckles cut and shut but I found that on the track It felt too twitchy and unstable so I've since converted to manual steering and it's more stable and gives better feedback. for day to day driving p/steer has plenty of lock. Just depends what you want to do with the car.
