nice sleeper. got plans for brakes and suspention?

also i might note. you should run the engine breather from the cam cover to a catch can. as in cut nd shut smallport manifolds it gets bolcked, casuing presssure to build in the crankcase :)

Plans for the moment are to fix some of the unfinished items on the car.

1. Set up a return spring on the throttle - lacking one at the moment so the revs don't return to idle properly. Frustrating as shit to drive!!
2. Change original clutch line for a braided item - the current one is a bees dick away from the extractors and surprised it hasn't melted yet. This may be a sign the car hasn't been driven much since completion.
3. Change fuel system setup - not running a surge tank. This is fine except it seems to surge at the worst times ie giving it shit!

Yes the air con set up is all there it (apparently) just needs a new belt. Would be a rad daily if the air con works as my KE70 doesn't have air con :(

Thanks for the tip Blake 16v engines are new to me. My last 4AGE was a Silvertop 20V in my AE71 sedan.

If I had my way with this thing I would stick a DX front on it, paint it and put on some 15 x 7s or something like that. For the moment though just gonna tidy it up, lower it and put my MAs on it. I have a daily in my KE70 sedan so hopefully this thing can be a little more serious for weekend stuff

AE71 panelvan struts are the same as ADM AE86 struts, I think brakes are the same too(?).

So the paint is pretty faded on this rig. I thought I would try a quick cheap cut and polish to see if I can bring it up a bit. I only did the door tonight but the difference is rad - can't wait to finish the rest of the car.

Just some cut and polish cream I bought from auto store. Cheap too only 12 bucks. Have a feeling I might need two tins though

Finished the drivers side, bonnet and passenger side tonight. Just the tailgate and roof to go. In this pic you can see it is half finished and look at the difference in paint colour on the unfinished panels!!

What a difference it makes!!!

I'm just gonna polish up the mas and that should do. It's going in Monday to have the throttle spring made up and air con belt installed. I know I should do it myself but I get stuff all time for that kind of stuff

Thanks mate!!!

I got my local mechanic to fix the throttle today - modified the bracket to house a spring for the return. Finally the car drives like it should!!

It is freaking AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
