another good idea is get yourself a buzzer to warn you that a switch is off. Eg. Forgetting to turn on the electric fans can cause alot of dramas if your runing it off a switch :)

Hey man, nice build
Im going to keep an eye out on this as im planning to go sr into a ae71 very soon.

got some questions if you wouldnt mind answering,
What engine mounts are you going to use?
And im assuming that is a sr box? What are you going to do about the shifter sitting back.

Cheers
Matt

Ive got custom engine mount that are a direct bolt on to the ae86 crossmember. < only prob (for mine) is they are inthe way of my gt28/71 but the 25 is ok < but its an easy fix, top mount or shave abit off the mount.
and for the shifter it does sit abit back and the factory bend makes it worse on 2nd 4 and rev esp with a fixed bucket and rail its abit too far back, but once the motor is in im planing get a short shift kit and mod it so it bends forward then up amd have it extended. only thing is imm worried about how hard it would get into gear after that. ill work it out!

and good luck with your plans! :)

Have you reveresed your shifter? I'm using a SR box and I found this gave just ernough clearance.

So just a little update of my dead thread lol! This car has been thashhhhhhhhhhhhhhed and still going strong!
This thing has had so much hard man hours put into it and it has seriously done me well! The body has seen better days but I guess the car concludes to being like your skateboard in highschool with dents and wood chipping away on the tail from too many kick ups and skids, thats what it is and why I love it! Its currently running 210kws and really its all I need!:sunnies::thumbup:
Ps. drifting the car is mint! However had this thing on a hillclimb track and the bump steer is horrendous. So to fix that I'm actually building a new ke70 to compensate for that as this ones perfect for what it is, so just saying ill probably will never grow out of one haha! ke power!

heres a little video and a few pictures of it now for good measure!
