This is the first car I modded back in 1998. I bought it with the mitsubishi 4g32/twin solex engine & when it got tired I decided to replace with the best 1.6l engine at the time. I purchased the 20v as a front cut & it was only 5 years old.

I had to mod the firewall to suit the dizi & water hose for radiator. Fitted the T50 & custom engine mounts & bolted the T50 rubber mount to standard galant gearbox mount.

It was running a Wolf 3D ecu , custom headers & 2 1/4 exhaust . Locked diff with slappers bars. Over the years I owned I chaged the wheels about 3 times.

It was dynoed at 98whp & ran a 15.4 1/4.

I ended up stripping the car & putting the engine in an AE71 panelvan with wiseco turbo piston & GT28R.

A couple pics. I did not take many pics as back then you did not have camera phones.

That is cool as! And back then the 20 valve wouldn't of been as mainstream yeah?

That's awesome! Nice color choice.
Would have looked sweet on some nicely sized 14" wata's.

Thanks guys.

The 20v was just takin off. I had one of the first rwd in brisbane. Everyone was doing the fwd conversion.

The front cut was cheap too. I paid $1800 for it. Had 50k on the the clock.

I do miss it & should have turboed it instead of putting the engine in my ae71 van. I sold the shell for next to nothing.
