Most of you are aware of what makes performance wheels a good option but for those who dont or are easily swayed to cheaper knock off wheels. These direct copies of well known wheels are ruining the market for those with the original items.
Some people dont like them for one reason or another, but after seeing some other wheels in the flesh on customers cars
XXR, Rxta etc I felt compelled to say something.
Performance wheels are made in Adelaide, SA
They are extensively used in many levels of racing both here and overseas and have been for many years.
Rally, Circuit, Formula Ford, Drag, 4wd competition, Drift and of course Street.
The superlight is made under license from the British superlight which came about in the 60s for MGs and Minis. Well before Watanabe etc.
They are very strong but if you do manage to damage one you can replace with a single wheel rather than ruining a whole set.
If weight is an issue Superlights are available in a GTR casting which is significantly lighter. 15x8 are 9.1kg down to 7.5kg
Any stud pattern, 5 different colours and different hub size and offsets apply to most wheel styles.
Meet all relevant Australian and International standards.
The company has gone to great lengths to cater for the enthusiast of the older car but re releasing discontinued styles and offering multiple offsets.
Turn around time is usually much faster than getting wheels from Japan.
