Any idea as to how these compare to T3's new 20mm shorter powersteering knuckles?

Also, how does the changeover process work? Do i send my arms, Kelway mods them and sends them back? If so, what is the rough turn around time?

Cheers,
Andrew

they arent plate steel for starters and you dont need longer bolts

You send the arms to me, Kelway mods them and I send them back

1 week + shipping

Will post pics when I get my digi cam back

Still plenty of thread left on standard tie rods to run 0 toe?

Or get the extra thread/long ones you got??

Oh and you don't need to start with pwr steer arms, can send you standard ones yeh?

:-)

PICS UP

can do them from standard ones or corona/celica ones

best to get dual adjust tie rods, but not necessary in most set ups

nigels are slightly different to hey man again...he used my genuine hey mans to jig and then modified them more so...

jdi s13 knuckles are different to hey-man...but im of the belief the ae86 ones are definitely the same...would be interested to hear otherwise, as someone whom suggested them to me, definitely said they were hey man copies...edit - leigh has since informed me they are certainly not copies :)

as for the knuckles...absolutely mint job...love kelways work!!!

I have some Heyman Copies that Nigel has done (they are Delazys knuckles) i had to modify the caster rods on the lca as the knuckle goes over them and past where the swaybar would normally be. (running no swaybar)
the knuckles uses all of the notch in the lca which is about 30mm

MINT lock... MINT.

untrue, jake and leigh done trial and error with them for ages tried different things, until they worked out the combinatin they got now

from what leigh told me they duid it all for his ke with s13 front, then just transferred across the same theories to the toyota stuff

For anyone who is running power steering in there AE86, the amount of lock gained is ridiculous. I gained an extra 13 degrees worth, which took the standard 25 degrees worth out to 38 degrees.

I just fitted these tonight, it's got a lot more lock now. The right front wheel is hitting the castor rod but the left side is fine, I will take it to work in a few weeks re-centre the rack and give it a wheel alignment.
