Hi guys

Who wants the GRID classics in 15 x 9. I need to get atleast 20 sets or more to try and get things happening. The more the better. Offets we will need to be fixed on maybe a couple of options.

Obviously this is no "yeh i maybe in if i have the money in the future" or "yeh im down, but i got no money"

If u got the money, and want to put it down, i will try get things happening. I need confirmed people wanting it to put money down to make these happen and ill try my best to make it happen.

Im doing this because im trying to help and do something for you guys. Like i said, ill try make it happen.

I will not beat around the bush, once we have confirmed people, ill find it from factory if its a goer or a no goer. Simple and let u guys know.

Let me know

Pricing will still be for 15 x 9 will still be $749 a set plus postage.

Cheers

Wei

KurtHS
14th June 2011, 07:39 PM
Bronze has to be a colour, 0 offset should be an option, I will take two at the very least, a full set if you can't get the numbers up.

--Redwork--
15th June 2011, 01:52 AM
I will take MINIMUM 1 set.. Cash in my hand waiting right now.!!
Would be great if you could do them in a -10 or -15 to match my meisters.
I'm not sure which other sites your involved with but I'm sure Between here, Drift works, the Mx5 crowd and the 240z guys you could quite easily get your required numbers..

Thank you to btw. :)

So no where only 17 sets short... Hmmm.. I don't think I have enough romm for 17 sets of wheels at my place.. Thats ummm...68 wheels and $5250.. Some of you other ppl better by some aswell..
Please make this happen guys... I find it rediculas having to pay $1800+ for a set of 15x9 wheels that are only ever going to be used at the track..
Help make sick fitment a reality for the lesser fortunate...

And haters please keep your JDM fan boy shit to your selves.. I have around $5000 worth of JDM wheels for my 86 alone..(not including all the 18 Work wheels I have for my JZX) I don't give a flying fuuuck if you think its wrong that rota are making copies..
Its AWESOME that they make affordable wheels for us... support companies that support you..
Put your dollars down HERE..!!

What do people think the chances of fitting 15x9 0 offset wheels under standard KE70 rear guards are? The guards will be rolled/flaired/whatever it takes to get them stretched as wide as possible, but will the guards stretch wide enough to fit 9"? Or am I going to have to weld front guards onto the rear guards? Because if that's the case I may as well go for 15x9 -10/-15 or whatever the chosen offset is.

sundee
15th September 2011, 03:06 PM

Hi Guys,

If we have 14 FULL sets, and paid up front so we know everyone is keen, ill make it happen. please note we will take some time to draw up the design, cast the sample wheel, testing to pass jwl and via, and then manufacture, turn around time could be few months.

So let me know whos down, and lets make it happen.

KurtHS
1st October 2011, 01:33 AM
I'll take a pair! What offset though?

Rotawheels
1st October 2011, 02:57 AM
I have updated on the first page with names listed of everyone, who wants a set, pairs sso let me know if they want their names down, no ifs, maybes, we need confirmed ppl and everyone will need to decide on an offset.

sundee
1st October 2011, 07:47 PM
question - will this be the end of the run or will these keep being made at these specs?

ill take 8 wheels.
request negative 15 offset.

Rotawheels
1st October 2011, 09:58 PM
This is to start manufacturing a sample, create a mould for it, impact (JWL & VIA) testing on the design etc.

Once we have the mould, we can continue to run them. To create a mould is obviously the most expensive part of the process.

cheers

Wei

Rotawheels

Hi Guys

I have spoken to our parent company/factory and its highly likely that the 15 x9s are going to be made by combined effort from us, UK and U.S. We wont need the help of group buys (good for all) as U.S will take a big market of it. Time frame of this happening, im not sure yet, but it will happen. Please dont ask us WHEN, because could be months, but i will continue to ask the question and push for it, but its up to bigger distributors like in U.S to give it the go head and take the numbers.

Cheers

Hi Guys,

Just a Heads up, our parent company will be starting development on 15 x 9s Grid classics this month, hopefully will take a couple months to develop, testing, etc.

We SHOULD hopefully be able to order them early in the year Jan/Feb 2012 and bring them in March/April fingers crossed.

NO GUARANTEES but well do our best to push this along.

kind regards

See link. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/wheels-tyres/alloy-wheels/auction-422929923.htm

We may get to see the cast, sample probably within a month, and hopefully passes through JWL/VIA testing without any hassles.

Then if thats the case, well need about 1 month to manufacture our stocks and well put some in one of our containers and we could see them in about 3-4 months realistically landed here ready to offer to you guys.

Cheers

Yeah RA40 strut. I'll get a photo when I get a chance, going to offer the brackets soon on a group buy too hopefully. Citroen disk (RDA7103S) bolts to rear of RA40 hub as per the original once re-bored and drilled to suit.
