View Full Version : Anyone know a good mechanic to do my clutch?

Ive decided i want to put a heavy duty clutch in and do my thrust bearing in the gearbox at the same time beacuse its starting to rattle....

i need a good local mechanic, preferably in the shire, and cheappppp haha

mate just do it ur self aye or grab a mate.

ive done it once with my bro and it took us probably just over a day. I had to search the net on how to do it.

i can give you a hand if you want, im just at wolli creek.

easy as rhy's!!
we can do it in half a day as long as u get the flywheel machined,
half the weight of a sr box!!!

clutches are easy, tailshaft, clutch fork/slave, starter, cross member, behousing, and its out oh and dont forget the speedo drive, and reverse light switch.

if you do. P&E automotive at taren point did alot of my work. they are the maddest dudes too. they just laugh at dodgey stuff too which is sick. haha...

we can do it easyier as rhy's, alot cheaper as well.
hurry up and get a h/d clutch and we will do it!!

yeah its easy with people that has experience, me and my bro been doing it well enough to know what not to do to make it a faster process...but like everything, always longer then u expect it cuz someone fucked it up b4 we ever got the chance to...

sounds good rhys lets do it i just finished doing my brothers bottom end bearings on the ca18det should be easy for a t50 clutch
