okay so ill start from the start, yesterday my battery was completely flat (to the point where i could not even push start it) a friend jump started the car no worries, i was only minutes from home so once i arrived i decided to leave the car to idol for a bit so i could start the car the following day. I fell asleep and the car ran out of petrol duing the night

once i got petrol in it and got it running again today it was not firing on one cyl, i cant think of any reason why this would suddenly happen just because i left it idoling for a while (probably only about an hour as there was very very little fuel left)

I have tried simple things like re-seating the plugs at both ends, is there anything else i should try?

thanks in advance for the help!

Look at your points. Maybe they burnt a bit when the iginition was left on?

Maybe, seeing all the shit, dirty fuel in your tank went through the fuel system, you may have a bif of dirt clogged in one of your injectors...isolate the cylinder that isn't firing and go from there...

I always thought you needed to be driving for the battery to charge?
