hey guys

my radiator took a major step forward towards dying today causing my car to overheat while on the monash freeway

i realise it was probably just really hot as temps today where about 34 deg, but the seals are on their way out so i want to replace it with a new, larger item so i can stop it overhaeting again detonating my engine. at the moment its having a sleepover in richmond haha

i just wanna know if u guys can recommend any good places for radiators

thanks guys

I might still have a few spares in the shed

Race radiators in Dandy seem to be able to make repairs last
The large nadrad / mr radiator stores are huge retail rip offs now.

Eastside radiators in ? somewhere east are about the cheapest for replacement jap import stuff and wont give you just one alternative if there is say that radiator in another material etc.

But you are sure its the radiator

Highly recomend Race Rad's in Dandenong they have done a lot of work for my ol man and his mates and very good nice clean work. But im sure your local radiator joint should be able to do a quick cheap fix.

Race Rad's is best if you were going for a complete new unit

this is the one I got from him

thats the idea yeah, an after market sorta dealio, or maybe a replacement with twin thermo fans or something, we'll see how fat the wallet is

its quite unnerving when u see steam coming from under the bonnet for the first time, especially when ur on a freeway in peak hour

i definately want a permanent solution, im gonna head down to thompson radiators in moorabbin on monday, ill see how they go, then get back to u guys
