Driftke70s ST141

[driftke70]

Well got a new rig today, just something to fill the gap while
im plotting away on my corolla so I dont feel the need to rush that and
can take my time and do everything properly.

In short, its a st141, SR model, basically the spirit of the corona world,
has front lip, boot lip, colour coded grill, stripes, uber seats and steering wheel, random shenadigans.

Has working aircon and stuff.

Is basically mint condition, 1 owner, garaged its entire life, no rust at all, AT ALL. 160 clicks, looks like its done 20. Runs beaut, goes well,

has a 2s engine, goes pretty well, almost as good as my 4age used to.

its sitting on 14x9s, will have all the old suspension out of my rolla,
drove it home from chermside to buderim and didnt see the fuel gauge move.

It will basicially be lowered and zoku'd coil overs, locker, skidded at archy and stuff to keep me amused and my driving hand strong.

I have fender mirrors new in a box for the keto, i doubt ill use them but i might.

i just fnished washing and polishing it and going over the whole caboose, ill go take a few better shots, get some to show you the mintness of the interior. Been scratching around for an hour trying to find a casette, could only find bon jovi haha.

found my strut brace from the celica gt4 fits, pretty interesting. I have no camber tops though, which doesnt worry me a great deal. looks like it can take a heap more caster, ive been booting it around, i recon i can get it to slide alright with the 2s, especially in the wet.

14s look tiny because of the stretch, when they are stretched heaps their rolling diam drops. 185's on 9s all round, will probably be replaced by 8.5s if they scrub, they are in the garage so no biggy.

been driving around the last 2 hours, actually handles really well with standard gear. will still be putting the coil overs in obviously, but sweet. Chilly air con too!

call me crazy, but i have been thinking about using my 86 cross member out the rolla, in this thing, and taking the cross member out of this and putting it into the rolla to better suit the 3s,

and then just get some kzg or something engine mounts for ca18 to 86 member, and bolt an rb20det into this thing, i kinda like rb20's for some reason, and you can get em dirt cheap, rape them etc. would be a cool little conversion.
