Anyways cranked it up 2 or 3 times and bang she fired up! She sounded better than ever, like a MAXI TUNED NA 20V ready to rape a race track!!! Straight off the extractors, no airbox, garage shaking, dad, steve and i screaming our lungs out!! I fkn luvved it LOL. Then exhaust had to go on which made it sound like a rexxy with no whoosh! How can i forget that nice tone it had!! Other than that its running relatively smooth, considering the engines been out of the car for almost a year now, and the microtech looks like its held it existing tune pretty well. Still running fairly rich and its kinda struggling keeping the revs up during idle. Nothing a tune cant fix http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif Me n Steve were mucking around with the handset a little bit setting rev limiter to 8260rpm hehe and rev cut out @ 9000rpm, advanced ignition timing suiting the engine for high octane fuel, just little shit like that.

Tasks completed from last post

Oil cooler mounted on bottom of radiator support panel and installed with speedflow fittings

Oil catch can mounted next to battery and rigged up

HVS mounted and installed

VN 1 wire O2 sensor aquired and welded into exhaust

CD player wired up

Alarm siren mounted, and wired up (alarm, central locking complete)

New clutch slave cylinder

Airbox installed

Things needed to do to get running

Waiting on braided clutch lines with special fittings so its away from the extractors. Hopefully arrive on monday, then fit the lines to slave cylinder to enable the clutch

Bleed clutch

Fit front Project Mu brake pads

Bleed brakes

Order LHS LSD handbrake cable from Tory Toyota and fit

Fit seat. Hmmm milk crate perhaps http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/7/5/4/536981.jpg

Whats on the cards for next week:

New windscreen should be coming in to get fitted

Finish off the dash, mount handset, apexi RSM, cd player etc

Paint up front suspension and brakes

Other sparco seat should be arriving sumtime next week (Thanks Geoff) hopefully look at fitting the seats maybe

<span style="color:blue">Almost time to get back to body work!

Also thanks to Simon as he is hosting some videos of the engine running. I'll put them up when they're hosted, just for now heres sum pics.

the drivers door is now fitted and the tailgate will follow very shortly. the other door and the two guards and bodykit will be painted after that.

he gets his license back in two months, so he better get crackin. like i said craig, ill come over to help whenever you need.

I had a titanium tip, but it was hard to weld titanium on to the exhaust. That one showed in the pics was temporary. I ordered in a stainless steel tip and its currently been fitted. Looks alot better than the rolled edge one.

Anyways heres an update on things

> Aquired 20mm Bolt-on Spacers for the rears to fill the guards (which do nicely) Although a adjustable panhard rod is now on the to do list because the driver side axle is closer to the fender

> New Hi flow turbo fuel pump fitted (old one burned out as the fuel needs to be fed not sucked) Fuel surge system will go underway in few weeks hopefully

> Steering setting adjustments now :
Camber : -2.5 degrees
Caster : + 3.47 degrees
Toe : zero for stability

Note: Caster is set on maximum (+3.47) due to standard castor rods

Now for the pics:

No one advertises for 14 inch rims anymore

My friend imported the wheel from Japan. But i had to wait fkn 5 months. I'd suggest to hit Wei up from Vision R, he can get them in.

Time for an update i think

Welli did have the car ready for eastern ck tomorrow, until 2 days ago. Driving the car in the rain. Water leaked in through the grommet (front guard no splash tray) into the cabin, ECU mounted in kick panel, and leaked into the power cord, causing the ecu to short. Just waiting for microtech to repair the ecu now. I dont think it will be ready though.

Anyways just a few pics of the spacers and sum new rubber
