no thats the previous owner of my car. he had it for 6 (i think) years before me and had 4ac 4agze and the ca18 when it became available from another 86. knows his 86's quite well.

just ask me .... hehehhe

I was just talking to some of the boys who go drifting and not shi, I love the 86.. but they were saying that mostly the young girls drive them here, which I guess is really good, because if you guys came over here, you could share an interest with some hot young Japanese girls!!!

The little shits didn't invite me to come for a drive with them though!!!! even though i hinted 6 times.... and I showed them pics of this car and other cars and told them about how I changed the engine myself...

This is a very nice car. Help out a little when refitting the engine and gearbox. But if anything goes wrong I KNOW NUTHING. This thing is freaking quick. Cant wait to have a another drive.

Someprickinjapan how did you start talking to these guys are they from the pics you were showing me. Yuo are going to have to come back from Japan soon so as to have a drive of the beast. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif

someprickinjapan
19th April 2005, 06:05 PM
yeah, my 60ft times were always that bad in it, but I think my ET was a little faster.. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif
Look at the speed compared to the charger and the time, you were only 7kph slower, but nearly 2 seconds in time... 7kph trap speed should be less ET gap than that....

Get on to the LSD, or lock the bitch for now... it sucks so hard trying to find an LSD for Hachi's

I found an option here in Japan, it involves using a handmade subframe and the rear suspension/diff from a 180SX.... good deal I reckon.... you can buy it here for about $3500SUD.. ehehhe

Or you culd look at trying to fabricate one, I know of an engineer who would pass it..

Even stranger is I have his old 4agze in my hachi http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif but it's changed a little.

Looks the goods! I'd like to know a bit more about the suspension on this car. Those look like t3 camber tops.

hey dude u using the ca18 gbox?
if so u got any pics of where u cut the hole for the shifter to go through?

ae86levint
28th April 2005, 06:53 PM
upgarage: i'll take a pic tomoz, it is a few inches rearward of stock, if uwant to keep it in the same place you'll need an rb 20 box and swap you bell housing onto it.

monkey: yes they're t3, i should put up a spec sheet? but its not that interesting i don't think.

i don't understand this bit? just to clarify on the slip on the left i backed off because i couldn't be bothered changin to 4th the one on the left i did hence the fast trap speed but what if i had of gone for it on the other run http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/sad.gif oh well next time should be low 13's maybe high 12's even, has the power for it now just to convert it to forward motion and hope i don't break anything. alternatively i may not go again http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif

He's not cheap, he's running way too much power for a T-series diff....

Jon, you should grab a Hliux rear-end... lots of chat about them on Toymods, they aren't too hard to convert and LSD of many types available.... plus some good ratios, which could be one reason for the cars strange times as well...

That diff is out of a 2.6L four cyl.. I think it has tall ratios..

The part about speed was that you have the MPH.. but not the ET... work on the 60ft time is needed... not that you didn't know that...
