i'm having trouble with my ca18det it's not getting any inlet pressure and it doesn't want to rev much above 4k its just running a gt28and i've just put the engine back in after having everything apart for a few months to paint my car.
actuator works, turbo spins by hand but doesn't seem to be spooling and there's no blockages in the system, any ideas??

the exhaust didnt get blocked when you had the motor out ???

or an intercooler pipe blocked with a rag or something???

does the car start and idle ok? sounds like something is blocked if it wont rev past 4000rpm and no boost in intake manifold...maybe check to see nothing is blocked up....
just an idea

no blockages all i can think of is i've changed the turbo manifold but i don't see how this would make such a difference and i've revved it to 5k now it just feels dead
