mr slippin had nothing to do with it

i deleted his post because he was acusing me of something i didnt do

saying how inconsiderate it was and how i stole it from him
ben and i had plans to make this site over a year ago (without the knowledge of your site) and i finally got around to it, i never said i made it up, and i am trying to get offical permission to use the ae86drivingclub name but im having no luck

you guys need to cool the fuck down, i just want this site to be friendly and have no shit fights, is that too much to ask?

i never said 'inconsiderate' or 'stole' but hey... no one can see that now can they?

and why use something thats already being used nationally by most ae86 owners anyhow?

its kind of like your taking the meaning of it and making it yours

dont you think thats wrong.

people are already making out what they think of the drivingclub sticekrs
and now your taking the meaning and making it your website.

what if they for some reason dont want to be associated with your forums?
they have no choice but to remove the stickers....

thats not cool...

Nobody is stopping anyone from having stickers, if they don't want to be associated with this forum then they don't have to log onto it, that simple.

yeah but is that really a decision you can make for them?
seeing as you come 2nd to the actual acceptance/use of the logo?

People make their own choices, I won't make them for them.

Secondly its just a shitfight because someone else is cutting the stickers

well
the only problem i have is with the use of a ae86 commnity logo thats already been around before the 'website' started.

its not really that hard to make an original name/logo...

Props to Justin for making it happen.

There difference is always when someone stops talking the talk and starts walking the walk.

Its pretty obvious the sticker would have originally come from overseas So hows about we all stop comparing the sizes of our schlongs and get down to making something of it here!

Credit where credit is due, I hear there is going to finally be a website, so lets work together and make something of it rather than making enemies. Arguments on the Internet are pathetic and childish.

The AE86 Driving Club logo has been proudly displayed on hachi's all over the world for years...

I've seen pictures from 2002 D1GP with a blue levin coupe with the sticker... and I've also seen Alex Pfieffer's AE86 wearing the sticker...

Garth managed to find a copy of the logoand has been distributing the stickers...

It is not really a specific club (not that I have found) but it seems that it is actually just a sticker that has spread itself over the world...

It is DEFINATELY NOT an aussie based club... nor is this or will this be the official forum...

You guys could merge the forums...

Ok ok ok. All this bs talk and no proof. The sticker AND logo AND club name are Californian based. I spoke to the president of the club about a year ago and he agreed to give me the use of the sticker and name as a INTERNATIONAL club. I got stickers made up around that time, have had one on my hachi since I got it. It is, according to my understanding, spread around Australia both stickers and by name. The origional intended purpose was to start a Australia wide club of the same nam, except due to time constraints with work, I was unable to organise this. I was given permission to use the logo and name, and in all honesty, couldnt care too much about who in Australia is using it. Stop your bitch fighting about who goddamn owns it. Its free for anyone to use................. If someone wants to make a Aust Wide club of the same name then feel free to pm me and we will talk. End of discussion.

Its not so much a "Club" as a discussion forum, I don't see what the bitching is all about, This site is for all AE86 owners to enjoy!
