http://www.photodump.com/direct/levinkid86/Dscf0044.jpg
These are the parts im currently using in this project:

Other expenses such as poly-urethane bushes, performance fluids, 2pac paint/primer/clear/under body detanor/heatproof/interior/thinners etc, machining, new windscreen, new dash, and replaced better condition stock parts = $2800
TOTAL COST to this day: $23 725
Thats with Dad and I doing all the work, and help from relatives and friends. If it was getting done at a workshop it would cost almost double that in labour costs (especially all the custom work my dad has done with brackets, modifying parts, welding, grinding etc)
Who knows what its going to end up costing at the end of the day when theres drop vented carbon fibre bonnet, engineering/rego, and panel shop costs (use of the booth and tools)., ETC ETC. Never stops!!!

1983 sprinter with 4AC and disc brake rear (jap diff) - $650
transport from QLD to VIC - $200 (company vehicle carrier)
1991 CA18DET, gearbox, ECU, loom, manifold with S14 turbo - $1650
putting it in - free (electricals done by myself, the rest done by Driftline in Melb)
paint, bog etc - $260
respray - slab of beer (5 mates, a slab of beer and sandpaper n a air compressor)
8 point rollcage - $700
intercooler - $300 (mild steel piping)
adjustable rev limiter with ignition cut- $150
S13 cluster - free (repaired a broken one with LED speedo)
locked diff - free
larger 4 stud brakes - free (came off my R32 when I did the 5 stud conversion) because I got the special edition GTS I also got larger brakes http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif
wider 16" BBS rims - free (also came off my R32 GTS which I had in my garage)
um that's all the important stuff I can think of, in a couple of months when the diff gives I'll invest in a proper 2way LSD. Car's at drifline doin bugger all atm with the front axle and steering column out while we experiment with using a S13 steering setup.
As a side note we also fabricated a dodgy manifold using the standard runners and some mild steel and hooked up a single R32 GTR turbo to the 4AC (which had a mikuni carby on it), so it was a turbo 4AC for all of 3 months. That cost $300 and was a whoooole lot of fun messin about with the setup.

for purchase of the car and all the parts and mods (not including repairs and breaking things) mine owes me about $16K - $17K
that is turning it from bog stock to track drift pig with a touch of elegance as it is now.
but there is more to do to the car to have it my ideal way. (isnt that always the case? http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/dry.gif )
i could easily spend another 15 G's and not make the car look any different. but until money becomes more redily available, ill have to settle for my drift pig as she is which isnt so bad.
