Yeah, I got give Battle 01 for my birthday by my brother. A mate of mine nearlly has all of them so he's going to burn them for me rather than me having to pay for them all. Should be good when the movie comes out.

It's probably because there's no new demand for anymore. Or becasue Tokyopop just gave up cus all the Initial D fans just plain don't like what they did to the series with their translations.

Either way, I just plain don't like what they did with the english releases, it's just plain retarded IMO.

Just get the jap ones with subtitles, it'll end up being quicker if you want to watch them all.

ive got 1,2,3 stage, the 2nd disc inf 4th stage, theres a shop is springvale that has the 4th stage box set, but they didnt have any in stock, they also have extra stage (what the hell is that) but it didnt have subs so i didnt get it!

the extra stage is like 2 extra stage i cant really remember, but its meanto fit in after no 2 and before the movie i think.
i had all the episode but i burnt them on a dvd and that dvd was corrupt http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/sad.gif so now im downloading em all again....

Im thinkk made in China, maybe like a jackie Chan movie.

Decent but there's something different compaired to other movies.

the only initial d i have seen is 'battle stage' (no storyline, just the drift battles) and the side movie about the girls that drive the blue sileighty.. actually maybe i have seen the first few eps of the first series.. i wouldnt mind watching it, i like anime =^.^=

one thing about the movie though, from the bits i have seen of initial d, takumis best friend ( i dont remeber his name, the one who buys the hatchi-go).. he is a very excitable character, and especially the animation of his facial expressions sometimes is pretty extreme, im not quite sure how a human would match up to it...

Well the Initial D movie is due out end of June for China and HK and end of July rest of world. It has a number of popular HK actors/popstars (in HK actors usual sing and vice versa) and directors, however it just wouldnt sound right except in the japanese language, especially characters such as Ryosuke whos actual speech and vocal create a presence of his veteraned character...
However I have seen HK flicks with the same names in them and they were awesome.

About the games....
the PC game is very shit, it has a magic "drift button"
However the PS2 game is based on the ever popular arcade game and is meant to be an ultimate play!!!! The arcade you actually earn points and mod your car and you get a card with amagnetic strip that save syour data for you to use next time. People with rare or highly modded cars etc even sell the card on ebay etc.
