this weekend i am going to be making the mould for front fibreglass guards to suit AE86...they are flared 30mm at the lip...this post is to give me an idea if there is any interest in people wanting to buy them...they will be somewhere between $250 and $300...waiting to see how much they cost to make...they may even be below $250...

im just interested if there is any interest...

regards
jesse

cool idea. and doesnt seem terribly hard to do. one thing to note though, most decent wheel/suspension setups with foul/ cause the wheel to foul the guard in some way. steel guards can take this, and often you wont even notice it. glass guards on the other hand may not be as durable. thats why you see alot of after market fibre glass guards clear the rims by alot more than modified oe steel ones.

THE_86 - yeah...i got bens old one...

To everyone else...thanks for the replys of interest, i realise that yous arent going to say a definate yes without seeing them..should be making the moulds this weekend...yes, $250 to $300 a pair...

slydar - i agree with your point...but those who have seen the car will realise that it sits pretty low alreay and these glass guards will have a lot of wheel clearance...but we'll wait and see and hopefully you all will be happy with them....

cheers
