In Issue No:73 of Zoom Mag, there is a big article on Tuning the 4AGE (16V or 20V). They say that the first modification the should be done to the 4AGE should be the ECU as the Nippon Denso one isn't tunable at all. Does anyone here recommend a ECU for the 4AGE???

Cheers

i have a blue top 16V being run by a Microtech LT8-s, hasn't given me any trouble yet.
mates running a 20V silver top with EMS Stinger ECU, his is also ok but cant find someone decent enough to tune it.

if your gonna choose, first look at how much you willing to spend, i did my ECU swap myself, and saved some cash which i used on Direct Fire Igintion Setup (4 coil ingition run by ECU), my two sprinter friends and i are all running 4 coil setups for better tuning and spark.

most of my other mates have some pretty high power cars (not toyotas though) and most swear by microtech. cant complain myself either.

my setup cost me $1300 including:
-ECU and loom
-4 line programmable handset
-Fitting instructions

then i spent another 200 on the 4 coils from repco (Bosch)
