I have a RPM one in mine ($300 i think - whole kit). You can get them from Super Cheap, Autobarn etc. etc. I really like it. Good value for money, not sure how much the exedy ones go for. Gearbox is 2.2L from memory, I use Penrite Light Gear Manual.

Cheers

you can just get your pressure plate rebuilt with more clamping pressure and just buy a new clutch plate

i hav a 20v flywheel on my 16v, so i had to buy a 20v clutch. I got a Exedy Heavy duty for $350. Work well. I was told if i had the 16V flywheel it would hav been a bit cheaper ($260) due to the smaller size.

hey I have my 20v flywheel and pressure plate waiting on putting onto my engine but wonder if my orginal 4ac clutch plate can be used in 20v flywheel and pressure plate coz y 4ac clytch plate is still good. someone pls let me know

A 4AC clutch is smaller then a 20v clutch.... so the 4ac clutch/pressure plate wont fit a 20v flywheel.

i have a heavy duty exady and its fine... i burnt 2 standard ones out within 6months but now with the 30% more clamp pressure i think this should hold up alot better

I think a exedy Heavy duty is best bang for buck. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/huh.gif

well if your planing to put a new engine in then get a cheap replacement clutch. this is what i did i think from memory it cost me $210 *i think* it was a PBR kit. it's so much better with a new clutch better pick-up when compared to a slipin' clutch

yeah i can vouch for exedy quality... had one put in my R32 skyline (yes i know i know not a spoonta) and it was fantastic.

infact about 70% of people with imports i know have them.

are they worth the money? how well do they go after continual drift abuse?

As i said: there best bang for buck. (In my mind anyway)

As for how well do they go after contiual drift abuse.... Well i guess It depends how much u abuse ur clutch while drifting. I'm more of a fast entry handbrake slider then a mild entry clutch kicker. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/wink.gif

at the moment im a heavy handbrake/clutch kicker with my crappy 4ac. im not all that confident with my current brake and suspension package to faster drifts.

As said Exedy Heavy Duty, Mumblezzz and Josh run those clutches (unless mumblezz has taken my old one out) and if they arent abused than nothing is lol
